I don't necessarily mind this. Hopefully it will force creative to build feuds that actually mean something. That said, I don't think they should be completely ruled out. Every few years I don't think it would be a crime to have one.

This is bullshit. They take away chair shots to the head; I was since it really is a health hazard. They take away my blood; I kept my mouth closed since blood isn't always necessary. But ladder matches is when I put my fucking foot down. I mean whats next? No tables matches? No more street fights? Last Man Standing? Yeah sure lets the MITB matches boring now by having them regular matches. Pretty soon, there will be no more gimmick matches ever. Are the wrestlers that bad at selling, taking bumps, protecting themselves, and such that they are going to get rid of all the gimmick matches? God this gets frustrating after a while.

^ Extreme Rules, this Sunday, every match is a gimmick match. WWE has plenty of gimmick matches so there's certainly no shortage there. The problem is, getting rid of the ladder match is a stupid idea and I can see why some fans would be pissed. Instead of just scrapping it, they should only do it once or twice a year (are you reading this Russo??) so it doesn't get old

This could very well be the dumbest thing i've seen in wrestling in awhile.

I'm thinking that WWE and TNA are in some sort of jackass contest with each other, TNA has OJ, WWE counters with taking away ladder matches. WWE isn't PG, it's just G, and by that I don't mean "gangster".

New WWE Report: Starting May 5, 2010 all titles matches will consist of staring contests. Rules will be 3 out of 5 rounds, first person to blink or smile looses.

Fuck this, I really coudn't cope with my yearly dose of MITB (well more than that with the PPV coming up), if this does indeed happen I will be fucking pissed off, I'm not to bothered about normal Ladder matches or TLCs for that matter, I just need MITB, that is usually one of the best matches of the year. I really need to do some more research on this to find out the facts.

This has to be a joke. I mean, I know back in the days they didn't have gimmic matches. It was straight up wrestling. Who's the better man. Same goes for spots and blood. But in this day and age, that's not what the majority want. They want to see gimmic matches. They want to see spots. They want to see blood. Others may not see it, but if this keeps happening and things continue to become watered down, fans are going to start turning on them. You don't start feeding a python a rabbit leading up to a cow. And then start feeding it rabbits. It'll turn on it's owner. That's what'll happen here.
