Given how predictable things are these days in the WWE (aside from everything else, as in boring, shitty etc), I don't really expect any mind blowing suprises in this upcoming PPV.

Now, for the most part everything seems to have been built (whatever build-up anyway) in a way that most current champions will retain one way or another.

- Does anyone expect Sheamus to drop the title so soon? Having just formed the League of Nations and since, as expected, they will interfere in order to help Sheamus, it would make no sense whatsoever not to mention the TLC PPV is not the place and time to crown Roman Reigns.

- Does anyone expect Charlotte not to retain? With Ric Flair in the scene all of a sudden and this kind of like father like daughter that I feel is being pushed, the answer is pretty obvious, isn't it?

- Does anyone expect New Day not to retain? Pretty straightforward answer: hell no. They got a good thing going, everyone knows it and there's no chance they getting stripped any time soon.

- Does anyone expect ADR not to retain? Ok, Swagger will get close and Zeb will surely play his part (perhaps will interfere and look as if he will try to help Swagger only to eventually cost him the match) but in the end I can't see Del Rio losing. Besided, John Cena's return is expected soon anyway and I guess the idea is for ADR to keep the belt till then.

So, could this PPV go without at least one title change? Well, my answer in the prediction contest to this question was "1" and given the above, the only one that I can see happening is KO losing to Ambrose. Out of all title matches, this is the only one that really stands out as a possibility. For one, Ambrose definetely deserves to finally win the big one and then I think that freeing up Kevin Owens would mean the WWE will have him available in order to build a nice feud for Mania. Maybe with Brock? Just saying...

Other then that, the Wayatts should come out strong this time. They just can't have them lose another PPV match and quite frankly this should be (I would assume) the obligation of team ECW, thus putting the new guys over.

Ryback vs Rusev is rather indifferent but it would make sense that Rusev wins; gotta keep the members of League of Nations look strong these days...

Well, let's hope that this time it won't be 3 hours of crap. I mean, it can't get any worse then Survivor Series last month, can it?

I've zero interest in the PPV, really.

- I see Sheamus retaining via shenanigans. I guess they COULD have Roman win, but I think Vince desperately wants Roman to win at WM have him go on a long reign from there. But we'll see how that works out, 'cause I actually see Sheamus dropping the title at the Rumble.

- Charlotte will retain for sure and TLC is the place where they will solidify her heel turn.

- I don't want The New Day to lose the titles anytime soon. I want them to hold on to 'em at least till WrestleMania. They're the best thing about WWE's current (and abysmal) product.

- Berto wins. Swagger has zero chance of winning. Even though we saw MexAmerica 'die' on this week's Raw, it's too good to be true and it's most likely a swerve for TLC.

- I don't see Ambrose winning. I see KO walking out in the middle of the match (or just as Ambrose is ready to put him away) and Ambrose winning via count-out. My guess is they may be going for a long feud (considering the fact that they decided to keep the stipulations away from this match at TLC) that would probably culminate at WM 32 with some sort of a stipulation involved.

- The Wyatts have to win, unless WWE's creative have completely lost their minds.

- Rusev wins, I think. Not that I care, but I guess Lana will get involved and Rusev will win dirty.

I really wish there was hope of a non-finish here. If you want to rehash an old angle, how about the 1992 Royal Rumble?

Both men run up the top of the ladder and grab the title, they punch each other a lot and knock the title onto the ground. Sheamus picks it up and gets speared, Reigns runs at it but Rusev grabs his ankle while ADR picks it up then an Uso splashes him... and on and on and they brawl like crazy before Triple H just runs out and grabs the belt and goes backstage... then have another Royal Rumble match for the title! :yay:

Also suitable: A huge spot, both guys fall off a ladder onto tables on the outside and R-Truth just runs up the ladder and steals the belt. :)

It feels like going into every PPV in 2015 the thing you want going in is "Can we get something interesting?".

Just give the belt to Triple H. We both know it's the right thing to do.

Hell, I'll even put it on Stephanie at this point. :haha:

How's this for some optimism?

There's been shows with good hype and bad hype and all that, but this is the one show I'll just say this: I wish this PPV just simply wouldn't happen.
Hate the idea of the tag teams and even Roman and Sheamus going out and risking serious injury and wrecking their body for the sake of TLC 2015.
Hell, even Ambrose and Owens in a regular match. How many guys have been injured just working those?
Creative has done you guys zero favors. I've never seen a show with this incredible amount of apathy around it, and that leads us to "The Destruction Derby of the WWE"
Feel bad for the boys in this one, especially since it's not their fault. This card is stacked. The boys are going to kill it tonight. But... why?

The good thing is that wrestling is going to be amazing going forward. Final Battle looks spectacular. We're all hyped about Takeover: London. Lucha Underground is coming back. Wrestle Kingdom 10 is just around the corner. Hell even Royal Rumble season will at least be interesting. TLC - and the WWE main roster - almost feels like a roadblock that's preventing us from enjoying all this great shit we're getting in 2015. It's a shame they can't just cancel this show for the sake of the health of the roster.

Anyway, since it must go on...

I don't see why y'all think "Sheamus retains" and "Wyatts get a strong win" are so obvious. Seems more likely that EV2 pick up a W tbh

Yeah, you're right! This show shouldn't happen. The WWE guys should at least have the month of December off, so when it comes back the next month, we should all be hyped they're back and all. I mean, RTWM begins from there! Also, their schedule is already manic and I'm all for less PPVs, they could at least cut 4 of 'em so that whenever the next PPV happens, it should have more build/hype.

Sheamus retains because shenanigans and I doubt Vince wants to crown Reigns the champion at TLC.

No way. The Wyatts need the win. But damn, so do The Dudleyz (and the other two). Unless everyone has completely lost their minds, then the ECW originals will be booked to win. Oh, well. This is WWE after all.

Oh I'd love to see an offseason! Maybe for a couple of weeks after 'Mania and December and a little bit like that. The wrestlers NEED it, the backstage crew needs it, let the guys who've busted their asses this year go home and see their families. :)

Not just that, but WWE would be the best at delivering cliffhangers (note that they don't do that on their regular shows, they don't leave shit, but...). Can't you just imagine the Raw after Survivor Series, when you have a few Royal Rumble hype videos, kick-ass matches, then a final farewell segment that's interrupted by BROCK LESNAR DESTROYING EVERYTHING.

Hell, it's great to show some classic content or some great moments from the year, and then when they run out of content in 2 weeks they'll realize how they need to deliver enough great moments to fill those shows. :)

I'd love to say "this way the PPV's get more build", too, but you remember Survivor Series last year, didn't you? After 6 weeks of build they thought of an Erick Rowan babyface turn.

granted they also had to account for Sheamus's injury and there wasn't a much better option, so going with the surprising one was probably right, but I'm still sticking this in a spoiler because that comes across as a nice zinger, no? :p
