I don't want Rock nor Cena taking that championship away from CM Punk. They can give it to Daniel Bryan, Wade Barrett, or Cody Rhodes. I hope mostly Cody Rhodes wins it, because I can see him bringing back another old school version of the championship, maybe the winged eagle version.

I think Punk should lose the title to Cena at Summerslam and then have SCSA return for Night of Champions and defeat Cena to become WWE Champion, then not appear again until he defends the belt at Survivor Series against Mick Foley, but Austin will retain.

Austin would defend the belt against The Rock with Foley as Special Guest Referee, who declares it a no-contest (because he's screwing both of them), then out comes Undertaker to clear the ring, setting up a fatal 4-way for the WWE Championship between Austin, Rock, Foley, and Undertaker at Wrestlemania 29.

Yeah, that's the ticket.

P.S.: This is why I shouldn't be on the Internet before 8 a.m. (CDT) after only getting about 3 hours of sleep the night before.

So what was the point of Punk knocking out the Rock? Isn't Punk winning in the poll to face The Rock? I understand Punk will lose the belt sooner than later. I thought he would win it back and face The Rock. Doesn't Rocky want pay back?

Not sure what to think on this actually.

I think whats going to happen is Punk is gonna get a heelish victory against Cena. Maybe with the help of big show. Then Punk is going to drop the title to Rock. Then Rock is going to drop it to Cena at Rock vs Cena 2, to even things up.

that sig is scary!

I do hope Punk loses it as it could bring out a mean streak in him and a anyway to win attitude!

I actually agree.

WWE has a lot of faith in Punk at the moment so I can see him keeping it for a while yet, perhaps losing at NOC since it's Cena's home town, but regaining it down the line. I don't see how Rock vs Cena part 2 will be at the Royal Rumble, they don't need to draw buys for that PPV as the Royal Rumble match itself is a big draw.

After Punk jobs to Rocky at RR, I'm guessing Cena will face Rock at WM for part 2, where Cena goes over.

OP seems like someone just stole WK's idea from another thread, but OK.

Would it be a good idea for him to drop the title soon? Maybe. It certainly wouldn't be a bad one. What is a bad one would be Rock-Cena: Twice in a Lifetime.

But it's the same thing as Storm/Roode, it seemed too obvious that they were building to that at BFG, so they threw a wrench in the gears. They're clearly building towards Punk/Rock, and while this isn't a good way to go it's certainly better than putting the belt on Cena again.

In that time frame, why not turn Daniel Bryan face since the crowd wants to cheer him anyway? Keep his gimmick the same (LOL Wishful Thinking) have Cena work mid-card feuds and stay away from the ME scene (LOL), and going into Survivor Series build towards Bryan vs Punk III? (You can justify this by the glorified tie in the first match, wasn't pinned in the second, and had an extremely competitive, fair match in the third. Call it like it is.) Have Daniel Bryan be the guy who de-throned Punk after a full year as the WWE Champion, and have Daniel Bryan vs the Rock at Royal Rumble? Talk about a dream match!

Rocky can win the belt at Royal Rumble, after Bryan (someone who can actually use the rub) wins the belt off a long-reigning champion (see Cena-JBL) and then do Rock-Punk at Wrestlemania. Why not? If they have to throw the belt on Cena, do it at Summerslam 2013 at the earliest, maybe then the casuals will really want to see it.

Waaaay too logical to happen. Although It'd be awesome, of course.

Pretty much what will happen (Punk loses at RR, Rock loses at WM to Cena).
