So is Vince in charge or nah?

Sheets keep saying he is, people who got let go are saying otherwise.

Was gonna say the same thing. If Vince has the power to supposedly keep changing and pulling stuff, he could have damn sure had Boogz on TV if he wanted him

To be honest the standard of wrestling journalism has never been something you put much stock in. If Metzler said it was Monday tomorrow I'd still check my calendar.

I have always thought that with Endeavour being majority owners now, they may want to see a more grounded, realistic wrestling show rather than the gimmicks and outlandish characters that fans have been used to. On the roster now, you rarely have any outlandish characters anyway other than Bray (RIP) so someone like Rick Boogz just seems to stand out like a sore thumb

Of course Vince would be a fan of an idiot like Boogs but not the other 25 legit stars he had

I don't even think it's that deep. He was just another guy on the bottom of the card they weren't using so decided to can him.

I think if Vince was in charge he might not have been cut but he was also injured for ages and that probs did the most damage. Also weird thing to publicly stat you lost your career once an alleged sexual predator lost power.

Boogz also trolls a lot on his channel so it's not even for certain he is even being serious.

If he is, I will just this : If Vince wanted him in the company still, he would be. period.

Could possibly just be that Boogs isn't nearly as good as he thinks he is

like there is literally a singular person above Vince and I don't think Ari has it out against Boogz.

I didn't mind Boogz but it would have been nice to solidify Nakamura as a heel by for one night only, having Boogz play him to the ring again only for him to Kinshasa him mid power chord and put him through a Marshall amp.

The guy was green as goose shit but he had a charisma about that captivated the audience.

Wasn’t a huge fan but I’ll give him credit

Boogz doesn't get it. Of course most of the "corporate guys" saw the potential in him. The potential to get some more meme and Social Media money out of him as an act. Not that he couldn't be something good, but let's be honest, Vince and some others of the higher ups probably got some Fandango-Flashbacks, when they came across Rick and decided to sign him and give him a spot, because they hoped to get something similar out of him.

Social Media virality and click numbers are important as fuck for WWE and Boogz was an act that could deliver those right from the get go. He does have the charisma and he has some good basics, but Vince leaving didn't "kill his career" (which is also a pretty shit thing to say, honestly, because fuck man, go onto the indie circuit and craft your skills), Vince losing interest in the Boogz act and having other guys with better in-ring skills and even more social media drawing power to their names, passing Boogz as such an act... that killed his WWE run. For now.
