A lot of expected moves and a couple of surprises. Sheamus moved to Smackdown but Barrett didn't take his IC title to RAW so Smackdown currently has two midcard champions with RAW having none. That surprised me.

They basically switched the midcards which is good because a lot of these wrestlers needed a fresh start. Hopefully guys like DiBiase and Kingston can get their careers back on track, especially DiBiase.

I like the move of Riley to Smackdown since it completely gets him away from Miz and gives him a chance on his own.

Guys like Tatsu, Reks, Kidd and JTG will be trying to impress everyone since they are top candidates to be released.

The draft went well although I am disappointed that Ryder didn't go to SD. Hopefully they see something in him and he gets a push. I can easily see Barrett losing the title to Kingston in a week or two to make it even. I am really happy for McIntyre, he could make a huge impact on Raw. Also, Daniel Bryan going to SD is a favorite of mine. Now he can wrestle on a show that can have ten minute matches.

I was sure that he would be moved to Smackdown and since he wasn't this means that he will either be fired or will finally be used on RAW. Surely it has to be the latter.

It seems like Sheamus vs Kingston may be added to the Extreme Rules card.

They made a lot of good changes overall. I still think that Cena should have gone to Smackdown.

Don't forget Henry who has automatically become one of the top heels on the show. It does give those guys a lot of opportunities on Smackdown and hopefully they step up quick. Sheamus has been there before and Barrett was a legitimate WWE title contender as a heel so it could work. Just need wins under their belt as singles wrestlers.

Some interesting moves. SD really has few heels right now though. Barrett, Rhodes, and Sheamus could really shine.

Of course they COULD shine but right now you need someone that will shine. Can they count on Mark Henry to be that guy? He's gotten zero push the last I don't even know how long. Rhodes has gotten a nice run with this Mysterio feud but he's by no means a top heel right now. Sheamus? He was a top heel, a year ago, until he got buried in mid-card land.

And as for Barrett? They really killed his momentum with a move to Smackdown.

I think that Henry will be used as the top heel first off for a couple of PPVs and WWE will just need to build the rest of those guys in that time. Rhodes is close to that level and a feud against Orton will help him a lot if he is given a win over Orton on PPV. Barrett will be sticking around the IC title scene for some time. Sheamus is an interesting one because it all depends on who he feuds with next looking at the roster their isn't much choice and Sin Cara seems to be the best option.

I'm guessing with Sheamus dropping the belt they push him as the top heel. Considering Henry didn't even make an appearance at all tonight, I think Sheamus dropping the title was kind of significant, even though you knew SD wasnt going to have two mid-card titles. I think he might be getting a HUGE push right now.

I think you are right. Sheamus will move right into the mainevent scene now and will be booked as a strong heel again. Smackdown need him and he has proven himself before. His recent depush on RAW was due to him not having re-signed a contract but once he did he won the US title and now that push will get stronger.

I still think that Henry will get the first shot at the title. He just didn't have a place in the match tonight because Brodus Clay was a better choice to help Del Rio due to his past history. With Clay and Edge having a role, Henry would have been out of place. I expect him to have a huge role on Smackdown this week.
