Imagine my surprise when I noticed a recent media release that Sheamus would appear on the popular NBC/USA show - Royal Pains - scheduled for Tuesday, July 22 (9-10 pm ET) on USA Network.

The title of the episode is "Electric Youth" Episode 607.

There's a YT video of behind the scenes:

I dig Sheamus. I'm not personally aware why isn't a bigger star than he is.
Most fans are dense. If anyone were to adequately replace Cena, it would likely be Sheamus.
I'm not calling Sheamus greatness, just that he brings many of the same qualities to the table as past superstars did when they were 'the guy'.

He is a bit cookie cutter, but nearly all babyfaces of this generation end up that way sooner or later.

Yes...Duke...I agree about Sheamus. I actually watched the episode, even though I don't normally watch the show so I could see him. He had a very small walk-on role at the very end. He looked good though.

Maybe he is trying to get a higher profile by appearing on shows like Royal Pains? It certainly can't hurt his career.

Couldn't agree with you more, quite frankly.
