Imagine if WWE dramatically changed next week, WWE purchases TNA, TNA invasion angle, TV-14, Attitude Era vs New Era, they put new era over, BAM. Not sure if I'd mark or claim that Russo is back

The main complaint I hear from broke-ass-friends-without-web-connections is that "the roster sucks, too many gutless nobodies who will never amount to anything".
The mid-card is completely irrelevant. Look at Kofi Kingston, for example. The guy's been the same character in the same spot ever since he joined WWE. Anyone who was a big Kofi fan has since given up the idea of him chasing the title, he's just what we call a mid-carder for life. Who is there that the casuals care about?

The character does = the gimmick it's all what makes a character stand out.
Austin's was the beer drinking anti hero for example, it's not cartoonish but it is a gimmick.
