Sorry, it's not a fight. :p

TNA star Booker T has plans to picket a Houston sports bar called Vito’s Deck House because he believes they discriminated against the Christian faith.

On Sunday afternoon, Booker T and Marty Wright (a.k.a. WWE star “The Boogeymanâ€￾) went to the sports bar to watch an NFL game. Wright, who was wearing the cross, was asked to take it off by the bartender, or leave. According to the bartender, it was a violation of the bar’s dress code.

Booker got upset and asked to speak to the manager. The manager explained that it was a violation of the dress code. Booker asked where the dress code was posted at, and as it turns out, it wasn’t posted anywhere. Booker refused to leave and told Wright not to leave.

Police were called and police officers told Booker and Wright to leave the premises. Booker said he saw two other patrons at the bar wearing crosses and they were not approached by management and told to leave. Although, the two patrons left the sports bar when they saw Booker and Wright being kicked out over Wright wearing the cross.

Booker has a protest scheduled and he hopes it gets as much publicity as possible to inform people about the sports bar suppressing people’s freedom to express their belief in God.

Lol, wow. Well, that's stupid on the part of the bar, I mean, why were you even going out of your way to look for crosses?

Good for Booker and Boogeyman, it's nice to see that they're together, even though Boogey slammed Bookers wife at WM 22 :shifty:

But really, I hope Booker can make a big deal out of this...

I'm on Bogeyman and Booker T's side on this one. People should be allowed to express their belief in ANY religion, especially Christianity. Stupid bar imo

Interesting story! Couold this be more than what it seems to be? Any chance the bar didnt want Booker and Wright on their premise? They said there were two other patrons wearing crosses but had not been approached. Sure, they just mightn't have been seen, but maybe this was just a way of getting to professional wrestlers out of a bar.

I dont know what reasons you'd want them out, but I dont live in and think like a yankee. Y'all have some whack shit over there, I'm sure there could be a 'logical' reason...

Dear Vince Russo:

Please don't turn this into an angle in any way shape or form.

Sincerely,

Spiralshock

Yeah I'm on the side of Booker and Boogey. It almost seems racial since other people were wearing crosses but weren't harassed, especially since the dress code wasn't posted anywhere at all.

I agree with Spiralshock. I don't think it wasn't so much as for the crosses as more of trying to throw Booker and Boogey out because they're black people who just happened to be wearing crosses

CMS and Spiralshock are right. It's racism, not discrimination against religion. If Boogey wasn't wearing the cross they probably would've asked them to leave for some other reason.

The fact this supposed 'dress code' wasn't anywhere just adds to that theory as well.

That bar really Crossed The Line with Booker and Boogey. But Yeah it is racism in my mind. Booker and Boogey just happened to be wearing crosses, which gave the bartender, the best reason to kick them out.

Just don't patronise them. What's the point of dramatizing something so minor.

Wait! Before anyone jumps to conclusions over race, it might be a good idea to know what race the other couple wearing crosses were. And for all we know since it was a sports bar, they could have not wanted "fake" athletes in their bar. So don't jump on the racism wagon until you have more details. Booker T didn't claim racism.
