WWE Smackdown Spoilers for Friday

SmackDown, Airing Friday:

* Michael Cole comes out to a new theme song. Booker T and Lilian Garcia also come out to nice pops. They recap Sheamus defeating Alberto Del Rio at Money in the Bank. Sheamus will be in action tonight.

* Rey Mysterio kicks off SmackDown to a big pop. He talks about coming back in his hometown and talks about Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio comes out with Ricardo Rodriguez and they argue. Dolph Ziggler interrupts this and declares he will be crowned the next World Heavyweight Champion. Ziggler has words with Del Rio about getting in the way at Money in the Bank. Mysterio suggests a match between the two tonight but out comes Sheamus. Sheamus offends Rey Mysterio and they get into it. Rey goes for 619 on Ziggler but Vickie Guerrero gets in the way. A tag match is set for later tonight.

* Darren Young, Titus O'Neil, Hunico and Camacho defeated Primo, Epico, R-Truth and Kofi Kingston when Young got the pin on Primo.

* Big Show came out after the tag match and destroyed everyone with knockout punches and chokeslams. He's on a mission to destroy the WWE tag team division.

* Sheamus and Mysterio vs. Del Rio and Ziggler is made official for the main event.

* Damien Sandow defeated Zack Ryder after cutting a promo against the fans.

* Christian comes out for the Peep Show. He shows the wedding stuff from RAW with AJ Lee and Daniel Bryan. Out they come together. We see footage of them planning the wedding. Christian asks if they are really in love and Bryan says it's true love. He gets the crowd to chant yes. Christian also gets the crowd to chant yes and no. Christian announces that one of AJ's exes wants a match.

* Kane defeated Daniel Bryan by DQ when AJ interfered. AJ teased kissing Kane after the match but didn't. She left with Bryan chanting yes and they kissed on the ramp.

* Heath Slater comes out and is interrupted by Road Warrior Animal.

* Road Warrior Animal defeated Heath Slater.

* Backstage comedy segment with Ricardo and Vickie.

* Heath Slater is still in the ring and he's upset about the Legends. He issues an open challenge and it's answered by Triple H. He hits Slater with a Pedigree to end the off-camera segment.

* Rey Mysterio and Sheamus beat Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio by DQ when Ricardo interferes. Del Rio attacked Sheamus after the bell and put him in the armbreaker. Ziggler goes to cash in his MITB briefcase but Mysterio stops him. Sheamus knocks Ziggler out with a Brogue Kick and looks at Mysterio to end the show.

Not a bad show, nice to see Road Warrior Animal turn up on Smackdown. Looks like Summerslam could see Rey in the WHC picture with ADR & Ziggler?

Sounds like a good show and I'm keen to watch it. A fair bit of build for a couple things and I'd really like to see a triple threat WHC match at SummerSlam. The peep show and Kane/Bryan match seems interesting. Good to see a return by Road Warrior.

Big Show to become Tag Team champions on his own! hahaha pathetic. Mysterio's coming back excites me more than anything. Shall be checking this out.

Exactly what I was thinking. In saying that, this doesn't sound like a bad Smackdown.

Hunico & Camacho winning a match on Smackdown (even though they didn't get the pin) is pretty cool. All four teams are appearing somewhat frequently, some more so than others, but the division actually has some interest. Big Show fucking them all up is completely unnecessary.

Damien Sandow cutting a promo and winning is fine by me.

Bit strange to have Christian hosting a Peep Show just so Bryan/Kane can happen. Just seems a little illogical because why would Christian really care about them "being in love"? Anyway, can definitely now see Kane ruining the wedding.

Interesting to see a legend appear on Smackdown. Nice move seeing how the big episode is a couple of days later.

That backstage comedy with Ricardo and Vickie sounds terrible. I highly doubt it's funny.

I'm liking the sounds of a possible Sheamus/Del Rio/Mysterio/Ziggler WHC match at Summerslam. Opening segment sounds like there's no sides being taken, then the main event ends because of an interference and is followed by the faces ending on top but tension shown between them. Surely a Fatal Four Way at Summerslam?

Jericho rarely is on Smackdown, so I see it continuing on RAW. I'd say Ziggler was there to prove he can cash anytime.

Totally forgot about that confrontation! I'm now hoping it's Ziggler/Jericho and Sheamus/Del Rio/Mysterio at Summerslam. You'd think Ziggler and Sheamus would win, but who knows with the WWE.

was wondering if They'd bring Kane back into the Bryan/Aj thing... guess I have my answer. Although I wonder where this leaves the Miz, as Raw made me think a Miz/Bryan program might happen again......... Agreed with the above posts that Ziggler/Jericho has to happen, hopefully that segment wasn't just used for a jericho full face turn. A clean win over Jericho would give Zigs that final little push he needs to be a full fledge main eventer.

Sounds a decent Smackdown Big Show and Road Warrior Animal's involvement being the low point to me.

Kicking off the show with Rey seems a smart move to me I have no issue with him being added to the World Title mix as long as it don't get it that would be senseless.

Good to see the return of the Peep Show but it shouldn't sideline Christian in ring career too much.

I called Kane's reintrouduction to the AJ saga and I believe that he might in the long run get the girl!

Like I said in the AJ thread I don't buy that Bryan has sudderly fallen in Love with AJ or that after weeks of mind games that she is ready to commit to him by getting married, so to me it would be a weak way to conclude the story.

So from what I saw on the show, Sheamus never offended Rey in that segment that kicked off the show so not sure what he saw / heard. Really glad Rey is back and either show will be much better for having him back although I feel as though WWE need to look after him and his body better now that he's returned.

Thought the 8 man tag was really good stuff and for once I actually believe like the tag team division is being taken seriously again...then Big Show comes out and destroys 5 of the 8 guys involved.

Marked the fuck out hard for Animal. Dude was my favourite wrestler growing up so was great to see him again, just a shame Hawk is no longer around

This was a good Smackdown. The tag team match and the main event was really good. The Bryan/AJ wedding planning video had me laughing. I want to see Bryan feud with Christian for the IC title.

^ Think the IC Title would be too much of a drop down for Bryan at this point.

Decent SD not as good as last weeks but right now I starting to get into it more than raw.
