Dark Match

* Dean Ambrose lost to a local wrestler from Manchester, New Hampshire.

WWE SmackDown

The show opens with an in-ring promo. WWE Champion CM Punk, Sheamus, AJ, Dolph Ziggler, Daniel Bryan and Vickie Guerrero are arguing in the ring. The tag match with Punk and Sheamus vs. Ziggler and Bryan is up first.

Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan defeated CM Punk and Sheamus. After the match, Kane came out and chokeslammed Punk and Sheamus.

Brodus Clay defeated Heath Slater in a squash match, it was about 20 seconds long. David Otunga ran out and attacked Brodus, working over his knee. Brodus had to be helped to the back by 5 referees.

Beth Phoenix defeated Alicia Fox. The finish was botched and they re-filmed Phoenix hitting Fox with the Glam-Slam.

John Laurinaitis is in the ring with The Big Show. Not much happened, just hyping this Sunday’s PPV.

WWE Intercontinental Champion Christian defeated Jack Swagger (with Vickie Guerrero). After the match (in what likely won’t be aired), Triple H came out and gave Swagger a pedigree. HHH then chased Vickie around the ring and to the back.

Ryback defeated two local wrestlers is next. Ryback kept chanting “feed me moreâ€￾ after the match.

Damien Sandow defeated Tyson Kidd.

John Cena came out to call out the Big Show. Instead, John Laurinaitis came out. Cena ended up knocking Laurinaitis out.

Afterward, Cena left and Big Show and David Otunga came out for the dark match main event. John Cena is back out to face Show and Otunga in a handicap match. Otunga and Show dominated the match. Otunga held Cena and Show went for the WMD, but Cena ducked. Cena sent Show out of the ring and pinned Otunga to win the match.

Lots of hype for this Sunday's PPV. What annoys me is HHH coming out pedigreeing people... What's the purpose? I know it won't be aired but still..

Re: WWE Smackdown Spoilers for Friday

Triple H's appearance gives the live audience something that makes their money worth it as opposed to watching it on tv.

The show doesn't look like anything special. Maybe I'll check it out

Re: WWE Smackdown Spoilers for Friday

Sounds awful like every other SmackDown this year. Haven't read about a SmackDown worth seeing all year. I'll pass.

WWE is atrocious at the moment.

Re: WWE Smackdown Spoilers for Friday

Who cares if HHH is pedigreeing these jobbers who don't draw. And it's not like it's going to be aired on TV for EVERYONE to see, just for the live audience in attendance to give them something more.

Anyway, doesn't seem like a very good SmackDown and this is a shitty report. Not detailed at all. And why did Ambrose lose to a local wrestler...?

Re: WWE Smackdown Spoilers for Friday

Where is Damien Sandow? I enjoy his lectures and ignorant banter.

Smackdown is a sore thumb at the moment, I kind of blame the whole "Supershow" concept, its mainly focused on RAW as opposed to giving Smackdown its own identity to run with - although Smackdown has been suffering since before this whole supershow concept was established.

Looks decent enough though, but it needs help - it looks so bleak and drained at the moment.

Dean Ambrose's dark match opponent at Tuesday's SmackDown taping in Manchester, New Hampshire was fellow WWE developmental wrestler Big E Langston. Langston, who was billed from Manchester, beat Ambrose. Prior to the match, Ambrose cut a heel promo denouncing the city of Manchester.

So the guy was Big E Langston who's in FCW... Makes sense.

Re: WWE Smackdown Spoilers for Friday

what has me wondering is...by the looks of it the whole show is 5 squashes and a main event jerking the curtain. From what I read Christian gets a quick win, so I mean the promos must be long and they must have really dragged out some parts cause this seems so short to me. Wished Sandow/Kidd would be given a decent amount of time

Great sig.

Wish Kidd wasn't treated like a jobber all the time.

I read another report where it said that Kane came out during the tag team match and tried to carry AJ to the back but Punk stopped him. Have to watch the show for the opening tag and to see that spot from Kane.

A lot of squash matches on the show but I will still check out the Sandow/Kidd match. Christian vs. Swagger should be good, really don't see the point of HHH hitting the pedigree on Swagger even just for the live crowd. It is a really weird addition to each Smackdown event.

It is good that Cena actually appeared on Smackdown, shame he didn't have a match. Now that they have added the Cena is fired stipulation I definitely see Cena winning at No Way Out.

If they mainly used the Smackdown wrestlers on Smackdown then they could probably turn out good shows each week. One thing that is lacking on both RAW and Smackdown at the moment is storylines, only a few wrestlers are in actually feuds.

Opener and Christian vs Swagger are the only thing that interest me as the rest is basically some skip worthy shit.

Doesn't look like much of a go-home show.

Seeing as it's the last show to get people to actually buy the PPV, one would think it be prudent to try actually generate interest.

This looks like a pretty lackluster show. Sandow's match looks like a squash match which sucks because it would have been cool to see Sandow and Kidd feud even if it was only going to be for a couple of weeks.
