flat earthers are stupid. They are given evidence over and over and their arguments are debunked over and over. But they continue to believe it. That is stupidity

Could the same be said about a lot of people who believe in God though? I know it's a little different because there is still potential that there actually could be a god, but still. I think a lot of people blindly following something and sticking true to their beliefs despite evidence toward the contrary doesn't make people stupid, in most cases at least.

I would say the two examples are different. We don't have proof God exists, that is true. We DO have proof the world is not flat though

You can't prove a negative, so we cannot prove God doesn't exist

however, we can both prove the world is a sphere and it is not flat

so both sides of the argument in the shape of the earth are proven definitively

Is there a minuscule possibility that the Earth actually is flat though, and that all the proof we actually do have is based off of elaborate illusions of perspective? Like yes, it's pretty definitive beyond all reasonable doubt that the world is not flat, but is there even the smallest, tiniest shred of possibility that it is false?
