the fact that we eat a mix of meat and vegetables by definition makes us omnivores. Our bodies are able to process both types of food. Like dogs. Cat's can't do that which makes them obligate carnivores. They require a particular nutrient that you can only get from flesh. We don't have that. It's a matte of the definition of the word.
