I hope HBK doesn't wrestle again, just as I hoped Flair wouldn't wrestle after his '08 retirement. I'd lose respect for him if he did, so I really hope he doesn't go against his word, unless it was a special case such as a tribute match.

Taker Vs HBK III and Shawn ends the streak, as it would be suitable for storyline, and a great way to end the career to the worlds greatest wrestler

aparently not to many people actually bothered to read my op, where I stated numerous times that it would be a "One Last Match", not an on-going career. And IT WOULD BE 3 YEARS after his retirement by the time we got to WM 29, so having just ONE match after three years would be nothing like Ric Flair situation. And the the fans would NEVER hold an opurtunity for one last match, against HBK. Especially if it was on the grandest stage, aganst a Taker and HHH. And he would end up retireing sombody, probably HHH, which is another thing I stated in my OP.

Just be honest people, how many of you just read the title of my thread only, and replied???

One more match is still coming out of retirement. For him to remain retired he needs to never wrestle another match again.

There is no reason for HBK to come back and I actually believe him that he will remain retired. He had a fantastic sendoff and coming back would tarnish that, just look at what Flair did.

I doubt we'll ever see HBK back in the ring like others stated before. But to the other side of the argument when Hogan was inducted into the HOF he had one last match.

I'm kind of on the fence with this one. He's retired, but he still wants to play some role. I see him coming back for another match or two in the late-future.

Two completely different people. Hogan hasn't come out and said that he is retired, he always says that his body is messed up but he can still wrestle another match. HBK has said time and time again that he is retired and that he won't be back as a wrestler and I believe him.

I would love to see one retirement in wrestling actually mean something. So I hope Shawn doesn't come back.

What would it accomplish? Ending the streak does nothing for Shawn. Feuding with Triple H does nothing for Shawn. Both feuds have had the final chapters written.

I lost a lot of respect for Flair when he unretired, and I think the same would happen for Micheals.
