WWE released new CM Punk merchandise during WrestleMania XXX weekend in New Orleans. Based on the fact that Punk breached his contract by walking out on WWE, WWE is legally within their rights to unload their existing CM Punk merchandise inventory. However, the legalties of producing new merchandise for Punk and selling it while he is not active in the company becomes a bit tricky.
For whatever this is worth, Steve Austin noted on a recent podcast that he was not paid for the merchandise WWE sold of his when he talked out on the company, however the company did not produce new Austin merchandise while he was on that particular hiatus

:hmm: is he coming back!?

I don't think he's coming back. They're probably getting their money's worth out of stuff they were making when Punk was still around. Would be a waste to just store it in a warehouse somewhere.

I honestly think Punk is done with wrestling.

No, WWE was just trying to make money off the smarks that go to Mania.

Are you insinuating that he is Ric Flair or Terry Funk?

Punk has always been adament that when he's done, he's done. He's talked about opening a donut shop, a comic book store and lots of other ventures.

Dude's worked up enough cash to live chill for the rest of his life. Plus his knees are shit.

Even though i dislike the guy very much it would be sad if he does decide to stop.

I welcome it. He deserves the rest. Plus he's been stale and sloppy for a long time.

What i never got, is in the 1996 Royak Rumble Vader was eliminated by HBK, he comes back in throws him out but it doesn't count, CM Punk get's thrown out by Kane already eliminated by Punk and it counts? :boss:

WWE has always been inconsistent with their rules, especially as it pertains to the Royal Rumble match.

TIL having an opinion makes you dumb :pity2:

The attitude is typical of too many people in modern society. You're cool, so long as you agree with the rest of the crowd.

As soon as you express a different opinion, you're an idiot.

As for Punk, I'm with Austin on this one. I think he'll be back when he's ready. And the day he calls Vince or HHH, he'll be welcomed back with open arms. And if WWE doesn't want him, TNA, ROH, NJPW, etc., etc., will give their eyeteeth for him.
