This matchup, seemingly set to be the closest, is truly that to me. Andre was a beast, and put on shows like no other with the likes of Hogan, considering his size. Perfect, on the other hand, was one of the greats when it came to in ring ability. But again, at that point, who wasn't in that era?

I accidentally selected Mr. Perfect. Andre The Giant is one of the biggest stars in the history of wrestling. No matter how good Perfect is in the ring he can't measure to him.

I'd say Piper/Owen is closer than this as well.

I didn't get to see as much of Andre's work as I have Mr. Perfect's including not only his WWE stuff but AWA stuff. I know how larger than life Andre was but will have to go with Perfect.

As much as Hogan helped take wrestling mainstream back in the 80's there needed to big a larger than life opponent for him to face, and Andre filled that role, and helped just as much as Hogan in taking the WWE to the next level. Perfect was great in the ring and his gimmick was solid, but he didn't have the same effect as Andre.

I like both but Mr Perfect gets it vote wise to me.
