WWE Reportedly Releases Developmental Diva

- As reported Thursday, the Divas roster page of WWE’s official NXT website, FCWWrestling.info, no longer lists Raquel Diaz, with her page deleted altogether. According to F4WOnline.com, she asked to be released from her developmental contract with WWE, which was granted.

Diaz, whose real name is Shaul Marie Guerrero, is the daughter of Vickie Guerrero and the late Eddie Guerrero. She joined developmental in October 2010, and has appeared a wrestler, valet and ring announcer. Her verbal ability was considered excellent, although her ring work was not nearly as advanced.

Kind of wanted to see her make the main roster and see how they would use her with her mom since that seemed inevitable. Wonder what made her request her release as it seemed like she was doing fine.

Hmm, this is surprising. I wasn't really enjoying her NXT work much because of the gimmick, but with how she was featured on it, I didn't expect for a release anytime soon.

If she requested her release, i'll be interested in finding out why. I didn't like her last gimmick tbh, as I preferred her when she was with The Ascension & Ricardo in FCW. But she had talent, so it's a shame she's gone.

she was NXT like twice so i can't say i'm surprised by this and the gimmick they had for her was not working.

Even though the gimmick was a pretty terrible TBP ripoff, I kinda enjoyed it somewhat.

Surprised she didn't stick around because I thought we should be an absolute shoe-in for an eventual main roster call up.

It does seem odd that she would ask for a release when she would almost be guaranteed a spot on the main roster in the future. Maybe she fell out of love with wrestling and decided that she didn't want to do it anymore.

Perhaps she didn't like the FCW atmosphere.

Her gimmick was painful to watch so she probably hated doing it. I'd quit too and demand something better later. She has time.
