Also, Cole is probably the best commentator they have today. Never got the hate for him

Cole replaced a legend. Not only did he replace a legend, but he replaced the voice from the attitude era.
Every great Austin moment, every great HHH moment and every great Rock moment was called by Jim Ross.
The night The Rock returned in 2011, Cole say didn't anything. Vince would be stupid to allow Jim Ross to be silent.

I'm not advocating bringing JR back, I'm simply explaining why people don't care from Cole much. It's less about Cole and more about the legend he replaced.
