WWE releases former NXT UK Assistant General Manager Sid Scala

WWE released former NXT UK Assistant General Manager Sid Scala over the past week, PWInsider.com has leared.

Scala, who last wrestled in 2023, had been with WWE as part of the NXT UK brand from December 2018 through the end of the brand's weekly series in September 2022.

Scala had worked behind the scenes as a Coach and Producer, but had not been utilized since the end of his on air role, where he played the Assistant GM under British wrestling legend Johnny Saint.​
