It would appear that WWE has parted ways Raw Superstar Tyler Reks as he is now listed on the company's website Alumi section. As WWE infrequently announces talent departures, this is often seen as a sign that a talent has been parted ways with the sports-entertainment organization.
See what develops with this, but i'm still unsure on the guy. He was abysmal on ECW with that surfer gimmick and then if I remember rightly didn't he then reappear on SmackDown some time later and ended up as that creepy heel version on the Bragging Rights team which was completely out of field? I thought gimmick may have had potential tbh, but other than that i'm not really into the guy, nor am I into him and Hawkins as a team, infact I'm sick of hearing about them.

Fair play to the guy, seems a reason that alot of people will understand. Now cue all the put Hawkins & Ryder back together comments :fp:

Don't think it'd be a horrible idea, but I don't see it happening or want it to that much. Only reason I really liked Hawkins and Reks that much now that I think about it was because they just seemed like an actual team the way they acted together (before the male stripper bullshit from last week lol), and they were the most entertaining part of NXT late last year before McGillicutty & Kidd started getting more time on that show.

It sucks to see him go, I loved Reks and Hawkins though I felt that he was the weak link both in the ring and on the mic.

Time for a Curt Hawkins singles run? I think so.

I like Hawkins, but I just can't see it happening. I just always saw him as a tag team guy, I don't know how he'd fit in singles, nor do I think there's really room for him at the moment. Wouldn't surprise me at all if he gets future endeavored soon, hopefully not though.

I know what you mean. For some reason, I can see him as a really good mid carder, but only with a manager. Don't ask me why, I just have a feeling that a manager would do wonders for him. By the way, a Hawkins/Ryder feud could be pretty entertaining.

Him getting future endeavored would suck considering how much work he has put into his wrestling career without any payoff. Even if he did though, he still wouldn't struggle to find work on the indies.

Sucks to see him leave. Would've liked to have seen Reks and Hawkins get a run with the WWE Tag Titles. But family comes first, especially when you're away from them so many days of the year.

I was starting to like Reks more so this is a shame. I respect him a lot for this decision and shouldn't be criticized for it one bit. Hopefully Hawkins doesn't get forgotten about after this happens. As for a Hawkins push, I saw him at shows around 2005 near my area. I would definitely like to see it but don't see room for him now. At this point, I'd give him someone possibly like McIntyre to team up with.

The guy wasn't very good in the ring and had no mic skills. Yeah, he was a pretty big waste of athleticism. Hopefully while he is taking this break he improves if he even cares to get back into wrestling again.

I highly doubt Hawkins will be buried, he was praised backstage for training The Rock and having him prepared for his Wrestlemania match against John Cena.

Yeah not.

This is in no way a loss for WWE. He was a nobody a Jabroni. He never has and never would have amounted to anything. They should hire the guy from the oldspice commercial to replace him.
