Not to diss you Sabs, but I think it's kind of funny considering you're in fear of WWE's financial state.

WWE's been the number one wrestling company in the world for the last 30 years and a mass media giant for the last 12 years... even if they lose their wrestling itself, they'd still have film to fall back on seeing as WWE studios rolls in quite a bit too.

Trust me, that couldn't be further from the truth

WWE studios has been one of WWE's lowest sources of revenue for some time now. A year ago it was close to being closed down altogether.

Wouldn't shock me, isn't that why XFL and SmackDown! records are no more either?

Pretty much. Every time WWE try and do something that isn't wrestling, people tend to turn off. Can't blame them tbh.

I think the cuts have nothing to do with money, but more making room. Making space for 9 stars and 1 diva to come up from NXT. Now I like most of the people recently released, but they have been deadweight. 3 man band was a great group, but it mainly all about Heath Slater anyway. It sucks they all had to be fired, but it's business.

Here's Evan bourne's tweet.
"Thanks for the love friends! Thanks for the good times @WWE. Sorry to the fans for not getting back on RAW after breaking my foot."

I like a lot of these people, but I agree with them being fired. Now they can go wrestle in other companies and hopefully get more ring time. They were just rotting on the roster and wasting years away.

It's sad tbh. Having a job with wwe is all they want even if it means having no ring time

Hurricane gave some wise words over Twitter to ones who have been released.

"To newly released talents, embrace your freedom. The Indy scene is on FIRE and is in fact home to the best wrestling in the world."

"The WWE is the biggest “stage” for pro wrestling but the “best” wrestling I’ve seen in the last years has been on the Indy’s. Good luck!!"

"My point being, I know some of the guys might be a little scared and depressed but rest assured there’s life after WWE, I promise you."

"And that’s NOT a knock on WWE at all. But WWE is just one wrestling company, there’s plenty of other great wrestling out there."
