WWE Release Shane "Hurricane" Helms and Burchill

Honestly if Burchill goes to TNA I would like to see him get some sort of mid-card push. Burchill, even though I am not a huge fan of his WWE work mainly due to shit booking he is really good in the ring I think if he is given a shot to shine in TNA either as a singles or tag team guy would be beneficial gor him but knowing TNA booking he gets pushed, makes 2 or 3 PPV appearances and then isn't seen for weeks.

I really wasn't a fan of his WWE work either, but I can see SOME spark of skill. His fued with Hurricane was actually some of his best work. If Burchill went to TNA, it wouldn't be a great move of TNA. A Rhino vs Burchill feud would be cool but other than that, I just don't think he is the X that TNA needs to find.


Shane Helms would be cool if the X-Division takes over TNA again but until then, I don't want to see him in TNA either.

No, it isn't a gimmick. Homicide is a dumb fucking gangsta. You know why he is called Homicide? Because he actually killed someone, I doubt it was with intent and malice, but he killed somone. He wasn't allowed to work outside of the northeast for all of 2002 and 2003 because he was still on parole. He's every bit as hood as he talks. Just like New Jack. Did you ever hear his promos in RoH? "we gonna kill dey mudda fuckers and drink dey blood like milk" Yup, charisma.

That's what i was thinking too. Maybe it'll give the WWE either motivation to actually give him something to do, or give Matt the initiative to be like fuck this, I'm out.

I knew maria was going out of the wwe soon. So its no biggy. I will miss her though a hot diva.

I'd rather have seen another blonde with wrestling ability and a sprinkle of personality. Good riddance. I'd probably never have even noticed she was gone.

Don't care about Hurricane, though I'm sure with Jeff and Shannon in TNA he's a lock to be there soon.

Shit, Burchill kinda sucks though. Such an amazingly talented guy. Hopefully TNA will pick him up and showcase what he can do. A bad ass tag team with Wolfe would be AMAZING.

Burchill is a beast, I really do hope he goes to TNA, he'd probably be thrown into a team with Terry or Magnus though If they gave Burchill a chance I think he could do well over there. Hurricane isn't all that young so I wouldn't wanna see him get a huge push over there, even though he's a good worker, not sure if he'd even go to TNA since his Ex-Bitch Velvet is over there.

Maybe they are getting ready to clean house and have a massive overhaul so that they can focus on the people who have talent and might actually get somewhere. We can hope.

I've always thought Burchill was an awesome worker. Hopefully he moves over there and they give him a good angle to run with. I think he may really show us something special under the right circumstances.

I'm bummed about both firings, as I liked both guys, but in all honesty, WWE wasn't using them at all. I'm very happy that Burchill, who is easily one of my top three currently active wrestlers, will have the chance to actually wrestle now.
As for the recent firings taking place now and not after Mania, it probably has to do with the fact that ECW supported a roster in the mid-teens, low twenties range, while NXT only facilitates 8 rookies. WWE simply doesn't have as much room on the roster anymore, and I wouldn't be shocked to see more cuts coming fairly soon. Also, on the topic of NXT, I don't think that they'll just use the guy who ends up winning it, because to devote that much TV time to it and not use more of the guys once it wraps seems like a waste of time. We all know that Daniel Bryan is going to win, but I wouldn't be surprised to maybe two or three more of them called up to the main roster shortly after the competition is over, also contributing to the need to thin the roster.
