It's not actually that high. That number was made when they didn't know how many people got it and recovered without ever being tested and you're once again forgetting risk factors. 1,8 million will never die from this. Ever.

No, but old people die and it's a fact of life. The vast majority of people in this world currently freaking out like they'll die tomorrow don't realize they'll be fine.
