WWE RAW talent stranded

The Raw crew is set to finish its tour tonight in Belfast and then fly back to New York for Raw at the Izod Center. Whether, due to most airports in Europe being grounded, that will be possible has become a big question. The Miz just twittered saying it isn't looking good. Belfast was considered the best place to get out of, based on wind activity in Northern Europe.
The plan was for the crew to charter a flight from Belfast after today's show, but the airports in Northern Ireland have been shut down.


UPDATE:

The flight ban in the U.K. has been extended to 7 p.m. Sunday. It's looking more unlikely that the Raw crew will be able to get back for television.

So WWE is fucked, what would they do if the talent can't make it on time? I'm thinking they'll just tell the truth and say the talent got stranded in Europe and RAW has been canceled. For TV, they'll probably show some random RAW highlights or something, sort of a "best of" type show.

Update on the wwe RAW brand in Ireland

Flights across UK controlled airspace will remain in place until at least 7pm Monday Night (GMT), air traffic control company NATS said (National Air Traffic Sevice)

National Air Traffic Service (Nats) said: "Based on the latest information from the Met Office, Nats advises the current restrictions across UK controlled airspace remain in place until at least 7pm on Monday 19 April."

EasyJet announced overnight it was cancelling flights to and from northern Europe today "British Airways" said it would cancel flights on Monday while "bmi" said there would be no departures from Heathrow tomorrow." Thomson" and "Virgin" have cancelled the majority of their flights until Monday.

Monday night Raw is more then likely to feature superstars from NXT & Smackdown, While Raw Superstar Triple H is said to be one of the few who are ready for the show.


This has meant that staff from the Raw Brand, including John Cena, Randy Orton and Batista, are currently stranded in Northern Ireland after wrestling a show in Belfast, the last on their current UK tour.

WWE could potentially simply book a show featuring all Smackdown superstars and the rookies of NXT. They are unlikely to screen a rerun, highlights packages or to cancel the event entirely, because it would gift a large potential audience to TNA, who have a live show following up their Lockdown Pay Per View.

Breaking news. It was annouced on WWE.com that there will be a 1 hour Gauntlet match. Triple vs NXT and the lower card roster of RAW and SD. Will he over come the odds? Find out on Monday night Raw.

If the WWE used there brains they coul put a show on in Dublins O2 areana, no flights needed only cars and a ferry. But this is fairly bad news, although live Smackdown does sound good.

It’s not looking good for the RAW brand making it back in time to the United States for RAW tomorrow night. The flight ban in the UK has now been extended to 1:00 PM local time on Monday. It could be mid-week before WWE can fly out of the UK.

WWE’s problem may now be that they need to worry about getting the talents back in time for the Extreme Rules PPV next Sunday.

It’s expected that the Smackdown crew will work tomorrow night’s RAW but with videos from the RAW Superstars to hype the PPV. If RAW can make it back to the United States by Tuesday night, they would then likely appear on Smackdown.

I wonder how WWE would book Extreme Rules without the Raw superstars lol

Looks like Dolph Ziggler will be putting a lot of superstars in choke holds

ROFL! Fuck yes! Fuck the other talent, this is the only man who is needed for the show, and was the only one that I was actually sad would miss it. He IS Raw. I would pay to see him squash all of NXT and anyone else left, Idc. Awesome.
