There’s a reason I don’t rewatch the ruthless aggression era, it was absolute garbage that drove millions of viewers away. I watched it as happened, I watched how we went from the attitude era to this era in 2002, I remember falling asleep during shows from 2002-2004, FORCING myself to watch because I genuinely thought things would go back to normal like before the brand split
6 months before this WWF was booming with huge ppv buys and 5 + million viewers every week, now they have 3 million
Rock and others are missing and it’s felt.
And it only got worse as the years go on.
The ruthless aggression era may be better than today’s wrestling but it’s still objectively garbage and one of the worse eras ever that should never be fondly remembered.
The Ruthless aggression was not in any way better than the Attitude era or WCW AT ANY PERIOD, not in ring, story or character and anyone who says it was shouldn’t be taken serious and likely wasn’t around to watch it
I’m gonna do like the 3 million viewers did following March 2002/Rock’s departure, tune out. It’s too boring and sucks. I cannot force myself to watch this
