Not sure it's that. Break him away from Heyman, don't book him like a jobber, give him a gimmick... Ya know, the typical stuff you do when you want to do something with someone.

The thing is, the IC Title is great around Axel because it's easy to believe the belt's important to him because of his father's legacy. Thing is, making him a carbon copy as his father seems like the wrong thing to do with him...

if/when orton loses he could be interim/2nd failure corporate face. IC champ.

Yeah, the face turn would be weird because he'd already be the champ. Plus, it's uncertain if he can go as a face or not. But giving someone attention with a good gimmick and stuff could salvage almost anyone, but yeah.

Think Crayo came up with the idea of giving the dude James Storm's TNA gimmick. Seems kinda random, but it's worth a shot I suppose.

I remember that was thrown around from time to time when he was on NXT before re-debuting. I think it can work. What doesn't work is him cutting the calm promos he was cutting when he still got the mic one or two months ago. The Storm thing is worth a shot, I could see him drinking beer and laughing at people who have just lost a match backstage or something and getting heat.
