I'm really lingering on the idea that Seth makes a return at the Rumble and wins it

Taking the title back and eliminating The Authority in one swift move at Mania is more than enough to have him be seen as a top face

Well the promo opening Raw could lrad to the Authority eventually belittling Rollins as the wrong choice if Roman joins them

Yeah, mentioned the idea earlier and tossed around Cena and Edge returning months earlier from injury and winning the Rumble too

Edge was out for 18 months back during 2002-2003, correct?

Yeah, but I was talking about when Jericho took him out when they were partners more specifically

well he didn't take him out per se, he used it to his advantage though

And that's just about the easiest way to transition Seth into a face before he returns

Imagine if WWE swerved us, had Reigns/Ambrose be a friendly bout, and Sheamus just cashes in afterwards. Boom, he's their new guy.
