That vague answer is pretty realistic considering he has legitimately said once a year for years that all he wants is one last match with Triple H. For whatever reason. He is 3-0 again him. He doesn't need the win or anything.

That said, Triple H mocking Guardians of the Galaxy and not bringing Dave back in 2014 could be a realistic reason for one last match.

The only thing that happened after that was Triple H literally mocked Batista for landing Guardians of the Galaxy. Batista wanted to come back after the first run in 2014 and push his movie and continue working with him, but Triple H said no supposedly. Dave has asked for a match with Triple H every year since.
