Austin was more entertaining than John Cena. And to be honest the whole Kurt Angle/Stone Cold trying to win over Vinne Mac was funny as fuck. And, moreso, Austin beat his wife you say, I wonder how much of that is made up, most women lie any damn way when they are mad and call the cops and the man automatically goes to jail for it, even if it did it or not. I don't recall Stone Cold ever getting in any trouble for it, so it must have been proven to not be true.


And besides, Cena was cheating on his wife on the road with a diva, so Cena is no better than Austin anyway. So, you sir are wrong. And Cena needs a full overhaul.

I know enough about it to not like someone Mr Condescending. I never found Austin to be all that entertaining ever so that's me.

I wasn't being condescending I was just saying because every time Austin is mentioned you always have to make a comment. What we do or don't know is very little but what I do know is Austin himself has mentioned that he made a lot of poor choices at the time and regrets them. When he walked away from WWE in 2002 he was on a heavy cocktail of painkillers and steroids. It was a very bad time for him and Debra and that's just what happened. But it's not like it's something that continues to define him today and honestly he could have done a lot worse. You know when it comes to a certain someone else I'll always be there to vehemently have your back. You and I see eye to eye on that perfectly. However you not liking Austin as a performer is something I can respect even if I don't understand it.

I apologize though if I sounded condescending, twas not my intention. Let's not fight over Austin!

Oh no, I don't see how you can say he was doing that Booty, when you are trying to attack Austin's out the ring character? Granted that has nothing to do with him entertaining people. Sure, I said what I said about Cena but it was to prove a point that out of the ring stuff should never finalize what they can do in the business. I can have my opinion for whatever reason I choose to do so. And adultery while wrong is in no way shape or form as bad as beating a woman which is not as bad as killing your wife and kid and then yourself. The Cena cheating issue has never been confirmed and the guy has granted more make a wish wishes then anyone else ever...that is a fact...not sure I can call a man who grants dying kids wishes a bad human being...he is a far better one then I.

I'm certainly not shy about voicing my disliking of the John Cena character but I wouldn't go as far as to say he was a bad human being.

Although there is probably a whole lot we don't know about who he is behind the facade.

Exactly all that stuff could be a front. But, Booty, don't bring Chris Benoit into this. I don't care what is right or wrong, the fact of the matter is the body of work speaks volumes no matter the outcome of their life. Sad, and tragic I say. But that won't make me change what I think of him, Cena or Austin as performers. At the end of day, no one is perfect, we are all human and sometimes shit fucking happens. In Benoit's case though, I can't justify his actions. As they were wrong. And yes, you can have your opinion but don't go around here shitting on other people's opinions because they don't mirror yours.

Benoit's actions DO effect the way I will always see him in and out of the ring.

And that's ok. I see them as horrid and terrible and wrong. But I still enjoyed him as a wrestler, I wish things could have been different at the end of the day.

The difference between those shenanigans and what Cena does now is.....what Austin did was incredibly hilarious. Most of the time, Cena's jokes just come off as very 3rd grade-ish. Like when he replaces bad words with "honey fudge and mustard" or some shit. It's just not funny.
