I don't see why every match has to be this huge epic thing to you. In your scenario, every match takes place between established people. Meaning established people are always losing, as opposed to people killing jobbers and looking strong and no one gets hurt. What you're describing is basically the 50/50 booking that you and a lot of other people also tend to always shit on. Basically you won't be happy no matter what, unless somehow everyone wins and no one ever loses because allegedly every single loss is a burial and drastically hurts their entire career

Also, "makeshift" or not, I absolutely love the chemistry of both of these teams. Joe and KO are just so fun together, but also badasses. And Buddy and Seth is a great friendship. Not to mention all 4 of these guys having killer skills individually.
