Of course it’s different like Chris was saying, but the main complaint wasn’t whether or not it can get on TV it was that you shouldn’t have to pay for weekly television. Same argument that honestly could go back to when TNA did the weekly PPV, too.

How many people are gonna sign up to Netflix just for Raw, though, if they dont already have it by the time this comes around?

Hard to say, but that’s my point. It’ll be interesting to see if the same people turn on this raw news or defend having to sign up for a paywall Ed service to see it.

I would say not a large percentage of the current viewership, but a decent uptick. It’s not just WWE offering though but its whole catalog you now get together.

Also it depends on how much Raw viewers actually use their cable otherwise. I only have YouTube TV for wrestling really, I use it for sports too but if I didn't have it I'd just stream them like I do when they're blacked out anyway

Raw is leaving, there's rumors AEW content could be simulcast on Max. If both of those happen I'm canceling YouTube TV in a heartbeat, I'll find other ways to watch SmackDown and NXT. Just depends on how much of a "necessity" cable is deemed to be for Raw viewers, some might see it as a push to completely ditch it like me

I only had cable for wrestling, too. I hope AEW simulcasts on Max. Wrestling should be available on streaming in my opinion. I’ll still watch AEW on Fite, but it’s good for everyone else.

Nick Khan was on the McAfee show today and discussed:

-Raw will stay on Mondays for the time being but could move days due to competition from Football (he cites the manningcast, gambling, the NFL committing better games to ESPN, the college championship, ESPN getting a playoff game as factors)

-when asked about any concerns with netflix being new to live streaming, Khan describes WWE as turn key ready. Once a deal is done, WWE does most of the work and that netflix is set up for live streaming (cites the live comedy specials and the reality show as examples).​

The good thing about streaming on netflix if there is something in the way that night they can just say they will air on Tuesday that week. They can basically air whenever they want.

VPNs fuck with my ISP somehow. Idk the logistics but i had it set to chicago and for some reason anything google related detected i was in japan
