there's a chance NXT ends up the show with the best ratings of the 3 in 2025 and that's a crazy thought lol
Being on the CW, I can see it.

SmackDown won’t be a sleeper though. I assume it’ll get Raw numbers. If you really think about USA getting SmackDown is basically still Raw.

the thing about Smackdown is that because it was on FOX i have no idea how many loyal ppl will follow it to USA. Raw is to me still more the flagship that ppl watch with their family. Dunno if itll be the case for smackdown once it moves since it wont be free.

Ur prob right that itll get raw numbers tho. just dunno which end of those raw numbers we will get.

The deal 10-year deal is valued at more than $5 billion, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Netflix, which is trying to drive revenue by cutting down on subscription sharing and pushing viewers toward its ad-tier membership, has made few attempts at live programming in its history but has never struck a long-term sports rights deal before this. Adding Raw, which currently airs on USA Network, to its programming lineup will be a boon to the platform.

For TKO, the parent company of WWE, striking a deal with Netflix brings WWE wrestling to more than 250 million global subscribers.

Raw has been the top program on NBCUniversal’s cable network USA, drawing 17.5 million unique viewers per year, the companies said.
5 billion? My god. This company never fails.

I do wonder if the deal has the same agreement for exclusivity that the network shows do where Raw still shows up on Peacock in 90 days?

sounds like they get mania and a few other PLEs which seems at odds with the Peacock deal. dunno exactly how they got away with that

The thing with SmackDown I think is very dependent on when it airs. If it stays Friday which I think they've said it would, it won't be that great, but probably will be good for Friday. Raw is USAs top show tho, you'd think they'd want SmackDown in a better slot to essentially try and replace

Probably on the lower end, but something USA will be comfortable with and expecting is my guess.

I don’t think they’ll court many Fox viewers to USA so I do think SmackDown takes a dip, but I do think WWE on USA fans who’ve always watched Raw or NXT on USA will tune in for SmackDown.

what day could they realistically move to? it's essentially Friday or Thursday unless you move NXT to Thursdays or Fridays and do back to back SDL and RAW. but talent perhaps wont like that imo because thats gonna be 4 days of travel straight from the house show circuit

Unless they wanna go head to head with Dynamite

Yeah, that’s strange because Peacock paid a pretty penny for the full Network lineup. There’s a reason wwe didn’t try to return Mania back to PPV.

Shouldn’t be possible unless the Peacock was renegotiated or always had limited time on full exclusivity.

This is also true. Friday was not good to SmackDown even on Network TV. USA might try moving back Thursdays would be my guess.

Probably the latter. They are getting essentially the international peacock deal.

Thursdays always seemed like their best night. Unless CW moves NXT and then they could snag Tuesdays. Doubt USA wants to challenge AEW again.

The he main victim would Impact, but they’ve moved every time wwe conflicts with them after the failed 2010 Mondays incident. They’ll move Impact where they need to.

Netflix will also become the home for all WWE shows and specials outside the U.S. as available, inclusive of Raw and WWE’s other weekly shows – SmackDown and NXT – as well as the company’s Premium Live Events, including WrestleMania, SummerSlam and Royal Rumble. WWE’s award-winning documentaries, original series and forthcoming projects will also be available on Netflix internationally beginning in 2025.
@El Jefro Blanco yeah, they mean internationally.

Which leads me back to my question about Raw. I assume Peacock must still get new Raw episodes after 90 days in the US.
