Well... He made the Punk feud incredibly interesting before it dragged on too long.
He entered the World Title picture and the Raw MITB, adding someone for the IWC to cheer for to the match and to do some awesome spots and take some nice bumps. While he didn't do anything in kayfabe, in hindsight he did some nice things in this run.
