Corbin even thinking about taking a Styles clash at his height makes me worry for his neck

I didn’t know Corbin all of a sudden had marks.

I mean that’ll great for Rollins to get an opponent with heat, but let’s not act like the match itself is gonna be any good or we haven’t already seen Corbin give his heat to two Shield matches.

Far from a Corbin mark, I'm just fine with a filler feud for Rollins while they get some other things set into motion and build towards something better.

Also the match really might not be bad at all. Corbin has his moments.

For someone keeps saying Kayfabe is dead, you talk in Kayfabe terms when you want it to suit you.

You can want to see a heel get beat without being bored out of your mind.

I'm trying to explain the reasoning behind it.

Has nothing to do with kayfabe....it would still be a story narrative structure.

Just because you think match qulaity equates to storytelling doesn't hegate that aspect.

Filler matches are fine. Rollins has loads of them in his first run. I’m just not looking forward to a Corbin main event. Everyone here hated he was getting the Angle match. Same deal for me.

You’d have to buy into the story and the characters enough to legit want to see a heel get beat over being entertained. That’s the basic definition of Kayfabe.

I’ve waited 3 plus years for this. I’ll take it this early. I assume we’ll get plenty of rematches throughout the year to fill SummerSlams and whatnot. I’m just glad WWE finally gave in.

How many matches the past two years have these two had where it didn't take the last five minutes after the major bump and false finish sequence when the crowd finally got off their asses and did the prerequisite "this is awesome match".

I would say a lot more for Styles than Rollins but he's been against Nakamura and Rusev and had some mid matches with Joe in that time, so... those don't really compare. I would say the crowd will start hot, regress a bit, and then finish hot. But there's nothing wrong with that either.

Had to work last night, so I missed the Live Chat . However, I got me a DVR!

Wasn't a bad RAW. The things that stood out to me were Robert Roode and Bray Wyatt.

When I saw Roode, I immediately thought of Ravishing Rick Rude, so I marked the F out! The Mustache is amazing! He should use the Rude Awakening but call it the Glorious Awakening or some shit.

Bray was simply amazing! Came across as a mix of Mr. Rogers and Peewee Herman, except with a chainsaw! Definitely reinvented himself with this.
