Daniel Bryan was getting squashed by Sheamus in 40 seconds on Raw in 2011......being a good soldier gets you higher on the card.......expecting the world for everyone is just silly.

The fans fought and fought and fought for Daniel Bryan. Otherwise who knows where his career would have gone.

The Zack Ryders and Curt Hawkins of the world can be the jobbers who wrestle on Main Event and get tossed off stages. EC3 should be a star.

They really didn't start fighting for him that hard until the 2012 Mania loss, he was gonna nowhere in 2011 but was still booked to win MITB and I doubt it had anything to do with his crowd reactions at the time

That’s my point. The fans refused to be silent after Bryan was squashed so his career didn’t suffer too much. But, at the same time look at how hard WWE tried to not push him? Like with Kofi. He got pushed into the main event of WrestleMania despite it never being the “plan.” So it’s a bit silly to say fans shouldn’t speak up for EC3 because he’ll be fine. If the fans don’t get behind him, I doubt Vince won’t stop doing whatever it is he’s doing with him.

Maybe I misinterpreted what he said. It seemed to me he was saying EC3 will get favor in the back for being a good company guy so the fans don’t need to overreact. But, if that’s what he’s saying I have to disagree. There’s plenty of company guys that get nowhere and it’s usually fans complaining and speaking up that helps said superstar not fall into the oblivion.

That said, Curt Hawkins did finally win the Raw Tag Team Championship after a huge losing streak.

Look I'm all for "WWE is the biggest stage so that's where you should be and shut your mouth" but EC3 was the face of TNA for 3 years and decided to come back to WWE only to be treated like dirt. If Vince doesn't like him then why the fuck did he hire him in the first place. They literally should've just left him in NXT for a while. I always thought his call up was too soon anyway.

I don't think he's dead, but sticking him on main event for weeks and then getting tossed off the stage his first night doesn't bode well for him.

Not to mention how the announcers were downplaying him. That's the kiss of death. If Seth Rollins faced Braun wouldn't the announcers hype up how he has a chance? EC3 and Rollins have similar physiques (EC3's may be better) so why would Rollins stand a chance but EC3 wouldn't?

You want downplaying....I'll bring up Daniel Bryan again, he had Cole calling him a geek back in 2011.

Also Vince doesnt do the hiring, he has guys in place to do that. Plus the fact he doesn't deal with low tier guys. He works strictly main event and his top guys, He probably doesn't even know who EC3 is.

Nikki Cross would like a word with you Also Heavy Machinery been on Main Event a lot the last couple months too but I don't think they've lost at least while EC3 traded wins with Apollo Crews.

Don't get me started on Nikki Cross either. She was great in NXT. I really hope WWE plans to use her now that the shake-up is over.
