Would rather have Cena get screwed over by Miz like Rock did to Foley in their I Quit match. Because Cena isn't going to say I Quit, it doesn't fit his character. Heels quit, not the "never back down" "come get some" "never give up" good guys.

That is what I am thinking too, it would make it interesting and you can easily just make it where Cena loses, but then people will just whine about how Cena lost the belt and then re-won it. So for me much rather see him just hold the belt and see where they go. No matter what I think the Miz will still be in the world title scene, because WWE wants to keep him as a top star.

Reading the results it seems like the mainevent saved the show and that R-Truth was strong throughout the night with his promos.

It's Cena, everyone complains about anything he does.

Because he doesn't rap, swear at kids and do shooting star presses while giving everyone the middle finger and people bitch about him.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact he cant wrestle, he does the same five moves, all his promos are the SAME exact one over and over again, and he is the most stale character in wrestling history?

Hulk Hogan said the same promo and had the same 5 moves of doom set. Bret Hart same thing, HBK same thing, Steve Austin....I could name almost every top name wrestler and they all would emply the basic 5 moves of doom. Why? Because thats how you condition the audience.

While you call it stale, I would guess the people in charge are calling it successful.

Is that why there's always talk of turning Cena heel?

Is that why so often Cena gets his ass booed out of the arena?

The only talk of turning Cena heel is from a small part of wrestling fans who don't make a dent in profit margins.

And getting booed out of the arena? Just because a minority is vocal, doesn't mean the guy is being booed ouot of the arena. One time in the Hammerstein ballroom 6 years ago. It's never been like that since.

Wrestling fans who don't make a dent in profits. Quite a large percentage of fans now are IWC fans, and almost every single one hates Cena. Why do you think you see so much love for Zack Ryder now at Raw and SD tapings? (That is, when the signs are allowed in the arena haha) It's because of the internet fan base.

Cena's fan base is all kiddies anyways who the only reason they get it is because their mommies and daddies by it for them. You just need another top face that sells merch to see a Cena heel turn.

Exactly until this happens Cena isn't turning heel. Unfortunately WWE, although they claim they have, haven't tried hard enough to create new stars just look at Christian on Smackdown. He could have been the next big face but he was made to look inferior when he couldn't even defend the title once. Until WWE seriously start pushing another face Cena will continue to be the way he is and will be marketed mainly to children.

The Internet fanbase is still a small section of the audience though, they will never be able to make a giant dent in profits. They don't buy anything and they stream PPVs, why cater to them? Seriously, you ever wonder why wrestlers treat smarks like shit?

The Smackdown ratings was an indication of what the IWC is, and it showed that it was roughly around 12%, now is that something you would want to please or the other 88% of the audience who actually buy merchandise and buy the PPVs.

If you're into wrestling enough that you join sites like this, you're more likely to buy PPVs.

Know why? Because it means you actually care about it to take time out of your day to talk with others who share the same interests online.

Although you might, not everyone uses PPV streams.

Not really, it just means you have access to the internet, and it also means you are probably going to be using the streams offered in live threads. In most cases almost everyone in onlione forums stream them. I don't. Not because I think it's wrong, I don't have a good connection, if I did, I probably would.

If the IWC bought merchandise, Daniel Bryan and Zack Ryder would be headlining PPVs just off them.

It just means you have access to the internet.

Almost everyone has access to the internet in North America, yet not everyone belongs to a wrestling forum. Why is that?

Because they are not rabid or obsessed as most of the people in online forums.

They treat it like a TV show, just like how people were so into Lost that they felt the need to discuss it in onlione forums and try figure out the shows before they came out. It didn't the millions of other people watching it were on those forums.

What the hell are we even talking about anymore?
