I'm a Ryder fan and I'll stick by him and not bandwaggon hate like a lot of people have started to do. I do agree his gimmick is getting annoying but we're not long into his US Title reign and the gimmick still gets a lot of reaction from the fans so why fix what's not broken?

I don't really have an issue with Ryder being US champion. The storyline behind the title win was great and he was so over with the crowd it made sense for him to reach the top of the midcard. It also freed up Ziggler for a mainevent run so for that I am very happy. I can't see Ryder holding the US title for too long because the title reign only happened because of his growing popularity and not really because of his inring ability. He may be a little bit over his head when he is in mainevent matches on RAW but that can be said for quite a few people over the years. I see him getting on the WM card simply because of how popular he is but soon after that he will drop the title.

Swagger vs Ryder at Mania might be nice for an opening match I reckon.

What do you guys think?

I reckon it'd be a good match to have open up Wrestlemania, get the crowd excited seeing they're behind Ryder and have Swagger pull off the victory there.

I'd love to see Swagger win the belt then turn face.

Swagger would be the best United States Champion at least for the last three years. I can´t imagine better US Champ than him with his All American American gimmick.

I agree Chriss, it will make his gimmick a lot better but I really believe he needs a face turn once he wins that belt. It'd help him in the long run I reckon, right now he isn't really doing much.

Now he´s in that "stable" or what the hell it is with Dolph and Vickie. I think that one day Dolph will make him turn face. Example: Dolph wins the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble and Swagger´s gonna be jealous or he wins the RR match, but I don´t really think hes going to,this is just an example.

Either way, I'd love to see Swagger turn face.

I'd rather have him beat Ryder and then someone like Brodus destroys Ryder only for Swagger to help him and then Ziggler or Vickie can be like wtf? and Swagger walks away from them.

When I look back to this conversation, some guys from this forum would book/write a better show than all the WWE writers combined.

Andrew's booking is just marvelous.

Seriously, I like Ryder but he comes off as a joke on TV. It's like "come on bro take my seriously" but then he's a chump trying to get a date with Eve. I could get a date with Eve at least if you compared by swagger to Ryder.

Why Cena/Kane/Ryder Finished This Week's WWE RAW
The angle with Kane coming from under the ring was written about a week ago, but officials didn't know how they would get to it until the day of the show. The six-man elimination match was a last minute segment put together on the script.

Officials wanted John Cena in the closing segment so there would be what was described as an "Indiana Jones-like" cliffhanger to end the show according to PWInsider.com. The feeling was that the CM Punk segment wouldn't be exciting enough and Chris Jericho's return wouldn't be a good way to end the show.

The angle with Kane was a bad ending anyway and looked corny as hell, something you'd see in a movie. LMAO. I haven't seen Indiana Jones so what would have the ending of RAW been like with John Cena if it was a "Indiana Jones-like" cliffhanger?

Considering Jeri-troll was just screwing with us, yeah it was the better segment to end the show.

WWE plans on doing one more "silent" segment of Jericho.

The report is saying it WAS an Indiana Jones like cliffhanger. In other words, it was supposed to leave you on the edge of your seat and have you tuning in next week to see what happens.
