Shorter title reigns can be good but only if there are a lot of maineventers like there was back in 99/00. Right now with so few maineventers I like the longer title reign.

Well to be fair, when's something like that happened before where a guy retrieved it but lost it like a second later? It does seem like commons sense that if it gets thrown down to the mat, they'd fight for it there even though it's off the pole.

True but then they mentioned the control rule which still has me baffled. It probably wasn't a botch but it was a very oddly planned match.
