Not besides the opening package where they recapped last week. Punk totally ignored it which I'm glad for considering I don't want them to jump too fast in pushing Ryback.

Time for a debate. Not looking forward to this at all and I am a bit surprised that this is being used to start the second hour.

Surprised they're using this to start the second hour, not the sort of thing you'd expect to keep viewers with. They got some faith in Show and Sheamus, but I'm pretty sure the word "debate" will get a ton to switch to MNF real quick.

It might be one of those things that WWE bring up again in a couple of months to set something up for Ryback. Hopefully he faces another established guy tonight on RAW and doesn't drop back down to beating jobbers.

That is what I don't quite get. It is a pretty boring thing to start the show with and people in the US would probably be pretty sick of debates already.
