Well they are calling The Rock the franchise saver. He did it to Fast and Furious and Journey to the Center of the Earth so now he can do it to GI Joe. Never saw the original as it just didn't interest me but I have seen this trailer everywhere, even outside of wrestling and it looks promising.

Fast and the Furious just needed the original cast the rock did very little to help it. Journey was never all that but Fraiser would have gotten the same results as the first one. GI Joe it may actually ring true for.

Changing the IC just for the sake of change is what put it in the shitter in the first place.

The original cast for Fast and Furious returned in the 4th installment and that did $363 million compared to the $626 million that Fast Five did with The Rock as well as the original cast. Journey did increase by 35% with The Rock involved so it was a substantial increase. Whilst The Rock wasn't responsible for all of that rise he does deserve some credit for those huge increases.

It'd be interesting because you'd have a new champion and a rematch that could be used for Mania.

I just don't see how the guy that did toothfairy and faster gets all that credit.
