WWE RAW 16th May 2011 - LIVE Discussion

Over the Limit is this Sunday so this is the go home RAW for the show. So far two RAW matches are on the card so expect to see a couple more added tonight. R-Truth vs Rey Mysterio seems almost certain to be added to the card and I wouldn't be surprised to see a tag team title match added.

We will see more build for Cena vs. Miz and *sigh* Cole vs. Lawler.

What do you want and what do you expect to see on RAW? What other matches do you think will be added to the PPV card?

I probably won't be online for the show as I have an appointment half an hour before the show starts and probably won't be back until near the end.

Hopefully some members can have a good convo during the show in this thread.

Sadly I will not be participating tonight. School comes first and really need to catch up on it. Although I will put my input what I would like to see. Since we saw a IC Title belt being announced for the ppv. I would like a US title match to be built. I want to see more with A-Ri and the Miz, really I see A-Ri and Miz feuding here.

I expect another match with Mason Ryan, probably with the Big Show setting up Nexus vs Showkane, and probably a Rey Mysterio and R-truth segment.

Unfortunately I only just got home so I missed RAW.

Reading the results I hate that Alex Riley is yet again on RAW even though he is now part of Smackdown. Kane makes sense since he is one half the tag team champions but Riley and the Miz was meant to be over. Hopefully this is the last time it will happen.

Nexus are back again even though I thought that they were over a few weeks back. They were booked strong tonight with Punk defeating Kingston and cutting a promo after the match and then McGillicuty and Otunga defeating ShowKane in a non-title tag team match. At Over the Limit CM Punk and Mason Ryan have a title shot and I am sure that they will win it.

Kharma took out more Divas but still hasn't wrestled a match.

Rey and Del Rio had a match and then Rey and Truth booked a match for Over the Limit.

Swagger finally broke away from Cole after Cole said that no-one remembered Swagger as a world champion, they remembered him as Cole's sidekick. Before that Lawler had talked Swagger up as a former world champion. Swagger then faced Cena in the mainevent. This could be the start of a face turn for him.

Cena wins the mainevent and then The Miz attacks Cena but Cena somehow comes back from two pipe shots to come back and lay out The Miz.
