WWE will be pulling back from much of the Augemented Reality content they use weekly on Raw and Smackdown, PWInsider.com has confirmed. The plan is for that content to remain on occasion, likely PPV events, but will not be as much of a hallmark on WWE weekly programming. One source stated that last night's Smackdown episode is believed to be the last time it will be regularly used.

Earlier this week, PWInsider.com reported that WWE would be pulling back on using their larger scale set and Titantron at TV tapings in favor for the smaller setup seen in Philadelphia over Wrestlemania weekend.

As part of those changes, we are told the company will also be cutting back on the amount of staff and equipment brought to shows for lighting and production purposes. They will also be cutting back on the number of production trucks at the events. This is just the latest in changes as the company continues to be resculpted in the Endeavor era.
Won't be sad to see the back of a bunch of those graphics but they did have some good ones like Cody's and Judgement Day's. Nothing will beat Riddles though.

Also pretty sure it was reported beforehand that the reason their scaling back the setup is because they're selling out the tickets so they wanna cram in as many people as possible rather than turning people away just so they can have a big setup.

I liked Cody’s and I like Roman’s. The rest were meh.

And yeah I’ve heard the same thing about the setup. Coming off 12-13 straight weekly sellouts, might as well try to keep the momentum going AND get more people in the building

I liked the augmented reality graphics for Judgement Day, Cody, Roman, The Bloodline, and KO so I’ll miss those.

I like the smaller stage and screen set up that we’ve seen lately. Go big for something like a PLE but keep it simple for weekly shows.

Honestly, I won't be surprised if WWE decides to go older school and go back to a more 1995-1996 set-up, with a smaller titantron and utilization of arena monitors more.

My only question is, are those smaller trons suitable enough for the entire crowd to be able to see the pre-tapes?

Or will they take Punk bumping into them after he decides to choke someone out a little? I say as a joke.

Pretty sure any arena they run will have a jumbotron anyways. And if that doesn't cut it, I'm sure they'll accommodate somehow.

Going to a show live you kind of figure you’re missing out on some of the television stuff. I think that just goes with the territory

When HHH showed the Cody video package on RAW, they literally rolled out a television so I hope it's slightly better than that.
So... Most arena's they can use the jumbotron. That will serve about 85% of the audience. The floor people are with them as you can't look straight up to see it.

At #RawAfterMania they brought out monitors for the opening segment. They pretty much had them sticking out of the barricades (they looked to be like 65 inch TVs or something). I was in the arena and laughed cause the one floor monitor I could see wasn't working for the first half of the video). They also got rid of those monitors right after the Cody segment, so any further backstage stuff (the Chelsea Green/GMs segment for example) floor seating was unable to view them.

As for the AR stuff, It's kinda cool but repetitive. As someone else said I think it's cool when you have it at the PLEs or the Stadium shows, but every week it wears out its welcome. If you only see one or 2 a night maybe it's fine but everybody getting one feels like it's too much.
