As a result of someone being over zealous on how "great" TLC was I thought maybe we should have a ranking thread of this years WWE ppvs. I'm just going to do my top 3 because if your not in the top 3 nobody cares anyway.

1. Extreme Rules
2. Wrestlemania
3. Royal Rumble

I'm a sucker for the rumble which is why it's on the list mania always ranks pretty high with me because of the showmanship but hands down Extreme Rules was it for me it was everything that mania should have been.

1. TLC
2. Extreme Rules
3. Wrestlemania

My reasoning to TLC being #1 is mainly due to WWE finally pushing the right people, made The Shield look absolutely strong. Ziggler winning over Cena gets a huge tick for me.

who are the "right people" the vanilla midget union? they've won one match hardly reason to cream your pants and claim it the best ppv of the year.

Ziggler winning, Del Rio turning face (could be), first ever Brooklyn PPV and it was shown a success, the crowd into just about every match.

Naomi having a chance at Eve. Rhode Scholars winning over Rey Cara...

Ziggler has been winning and he's beaten Cena before. Del Rio turning face doesn't mean anymore of a push than he's had also (could be), Brooklyn ppv it's so far from any major cities I wonder how they got all those ppl there. Naomi a non entity coming from nowhere is good? Rhodes Scholars beating a team for #1 contendership when one of the team has asked for time off? Shocker.

You had the shield bury the champs. Del rio defeated a trio of jobbers with the miz and BROOKLYN BRAWLER makes them look great. Naomi coming from nowhere to a championship match certainly helps the divas division. Not to mention that every match on the card aside from the main event and shield lacked anything special.

Never understood the vanilla midget term. Is it just a term for Indy guys?

I order every PPV except maybe one a year and I can't remember for the life of me any of them. TLC was good for the two matches and I actually thought Naomi did rather well but I found myself being bored by half of it. I think I remember Extreme rules being good but I'm not too sure. I too am a sucker for Rumble Matches.

Term coined by Kevin Nash for small guys with a specific type of character, seemingly one thats not over the top. It was in his rant about Eddie and Chris but is now used for Indy guys mainly.

Basically everyone Andrew wanks over and Shawn Michaels.

Hate that term because so many people use it incorrectly.

So Dolph Ziggler would be one as well right? I guess I don't understand the term vanilla. I assume it means plain and it fits Benoit but certainly not Eddie.
