WWE Power
Episode 63
June 23, 2017

We start with a highlight package of the Money in the Bank briefcase match as well as the WWE Women's Championship. Alexa's music then hits and down the ramp she comes and she doesn't look happy. She snatches a mic and enters the ring. Alexa says last Sunday was a joke... and last Friday was too. Alexa asks how come she wasn't in a qualifying match for the Money in the Bank briefcase ladder match? Alexa says she's been carrying Power since episode one only to get left out. Alexa demands Rosa Mendes come to this ring right now! But instead of Rosa coming out, the new Ms. Money in the Bank, Lacey Evans comes out. Lacey heads to the ring and grabs a mic before meeting Alexa in the center of the ring. Lacey calls Alexa a sourpuss and that she had the opportunity to win back the WWE Women's Championship, but she loss.

Lacey tells Alexa the next WWE Women's Champion is going to be her. Alexa half smiles and tells Lacey she's still new around here so she'll let her know the top woman on Power is her. Lacey looks Alexa over and tells her she doesn't see a championship around her waist which means she's not at the top. Alexa goes to attack Lacey, but Lacey counters with a Woman's Right. Lacey left the ring with Alexa laid out in the center.

We see footage from earlier in the day where The Bella Twins were talking trash about Bianca Belair and challenged her to a match tonight.

Bianca Belair & Carmella def. The Bella Twins via pinfall (6:46)

Carmella was last to come to the ring as Bianca's partner

Ember spoke with Christy before walking through the curtains. She said tonight is the biggest test of her career going against one of the best competitors on Power, one of the Four Horsewomen--Becky Lynch. She says she's looking to get a win here and continue to focus on the WWE Women's Championship.

Becky Lynch def. Ember Moon via submission (10:01)

The Riot Squad (Ruby Riot & Nikki Cross) (w/Liv Morgan) def. The Boss 'n' Hug Connection via pinfall - #1 Contenders match for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship (15:09)

Post-match, The Matriarch and The Riot Squad got into it before The Riot Squad cleared The Matriarch from the ring. Ruby would grab a mic and walk up to the ropes and told The Matriarch that at Great Balls of Fire they'll face carnage before losing the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. The Matriarch shook their heads no.

Asuka def. Tessa Blanchard via submission (8:10)

Nia Jax & Alexa Bliss def. Natalya (c) & Lacey Evans - Tag Team match (14:34)

Post-match, Alexa and The Matriarch jumped Natalya and Lacey before Naomi came down for the save. The numbers were against Natalya, Lacey and Naomi however and all three would get laid out inside and outside the ring.

We start things with Natalya's music hitting and out the champ comes to the ring. Natalya grabs a mic and every challenger she's had before and after becoming WWE Women's Champion, she'd faced and beaten. She says with less than a month until the hottest event of the summer--SummerSlam--she wonders who her next challenger will be? Rosa's music would then hit and to the stage she came. Rosa tells Natalya she's been a fine champion and representative of Power thus far. She tells Natalya tonight there will be a fatal four-way match of four worthy challengers to determine who faces Natalya at SummerSlam for the WWE Women's Championship. Rosa says and those women are Ember Moon, Sonya Deville, Asuka and Becky Lynch. Just then, Alexa's music would hit and storming to the stage she's come.

Alexa snatched Rosa's mic and said she didn't hear her named called tonight's main event a joke. Alexa got in Rosa's face and demanded to be added to the match. Rosa told Alexa she had her opportunity to regain the WWE Women's Championship, but she failed. We start things with S.S.M's music playing and the trio making their way to the ring. Maryse grabs a mic and tells everyone that the most dominant woman on the roster, Sonya Deville, is your number one contender to the WWE Women's Championship. Maryse says Sonya defeated three of the supposed best on the roster last week and now her focus is on ending The Hart Era. Moments later, Natalya's music hits and down to the ring she comes. as she grabs a mic and meets Sonya in the center of the ring. Natalya says to Sonya so she plans on ending The Hart Era. Natalya says to Sonya how important her last name and legacy is to her and that Sonya better come with more than one hundred percent her best because she's bringing one hundred twenty percent. Sonya takes the mic from Maryse.

Sonya tells Natalya her reign as champion has been cute, but come SummerSlam things won't be cute, things will be dangerous. Natalya tells Sonya she'll be ready for her come SummerSlam and as a matter of fact she's ready tonight. Sonya tells Natalya since she's feeling herself how about she go one-on-one with Sarah Logan. Natalya looks at Sarah and tells her she'll see her later. S.S.M leaves the ring and backpedals up the ramp as Natalya looked on.

Becky grabs a mic and looks around before telling Nia her one-on-one matches always turn into her getting beat down. Nia gets in the ring and tells The Matriarch to stand down. Nia approaches with mic in hand and tells Becky if she's the fighter from Ireland, the lass kicker and all, she'll agree to this match for SummerSlam and she'll keep her girls out of it. Becky looks around thinking it over before agreeing.

Bianca Belair def. Tessa Blanchard via pinfall (12:44)

Asuka def. Carmella via submission (9:25)

Carmella takes a moment and then tells Aliyah that she's spunky and that she likes that idea.

Alexa's music would then hit and out comes Little Miss Bliss to the ring. She grabs a mic and goes to the center of the ring. Alexa says as referee of the WWE Women's Championship match at SummerSlam, she has an important job, as important as the other two women in the match. She says The Hart Era continuing or the S.S.M era beginning is all her decision. Alexa says she plans on calling it up the middle and she won't pick favorites. Moments later, Lacey Evans' music hits and to the ring she comes with mic in hand. Lacey tells Alexa she knows she plans on screwing up the match. Lacey says she's also an important part of the match because there's a chance she cashes in on the winner of the match.

Lacey says that's later, but tonight she challenges Alex to a match. Lacey tells Alexa the only reason she beat her last time they had a match was because she hit her with her Money in the Bank briefcase. Alexa tells Lacey she doesn't book matches around here and that she's not scheduled to compete tonight. Rosa's music would hit and to the stage she came. Rosa asks the fans if they want to see Alexa Bliss versus Lacey Evans tonight? Rosa then books the match. Alexa would leave the ring frustrated as Lacey looked on.

Carmella & Aliyah def. The Bella Twins via pinfall (6:22)

Backstage, The Boss 'n' Hug Connection met with Rosa and asked her if they were the new number one contenders to the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship since they beat The Matriarch a few weeks ago? Elsewhere in the back, The Matriarch is walking as Nia says she's going break this little girl in two as a tune-up for her SummerSlam match against Becky Lynch. Nia tells Vanessa and Tamina to stay in the back and that she'll handle this.

We start the show with Paige's new show called "The Paige Turner." Paige was already in the ring and she would call out her guest Natalya Neidhart. Natalya would come to the ring and have a seat beside Paige. Paige asked Natalya with the weight of her families legacy on her shoulders as well as being arguably the face of Power, how is she managing everything? Before Natalya could answer Alexa's music would hit and down to the ring she came with mic in hand. The face of Power Alexa asks? Alexa says have the forgotten already about the best WWE Women's Championship reign of Power. Alexa enters the ring. Alexa tells Paige if she's wondering who the face of Power is she's looking at her. Alexa turns to Natalya and tells her what she should be focusing on is her refereeing her match and the determinate of whether she wins or loses.

Paige tells Alexa she's rudely interrupted them, but since she's brought up refereeing the match at SummerSlam let's talk about it. Paige asks Alexa if she plans on calling it up the middle or does she have other ideas? Alexa tells Paige not to question her integrity and that Rosa entrusted her with role for a reason. Moments later, S.S.M's music hit and out comes Sonya alone to the ring. Sonya enters the ring and takes Alexa's mic. Alexa didn't like that. Sonya says she wants to hear what Alexa has to say in regard to that question as well. Alexa looks around and says she doesn't like being questioned this way and that nothing other than a match called up the middle should be expected. Sonya says as far as who the face of Power is, after Sunday it will be her and S.S.M. Sonya goes to leave when Alexa grabs her wrist.

Sonya looks down at Alexa's hand. Alexa then tells Sonya that she'll see her Sunday. Natalya would then go to leave and Alexa would step right in front of her. The two stared at each other for several moments before Alexa told Natalya she'd see her Sunday champ. Alexa stepped out of Natalya way. Natalya stepped out of the ring and kept her eyes on Alexa as she backpedaled up the ramp.
