Becky Lynch started the night off by coming to the ring to address Charlotte. Becky says after this Sunday, Power will have a WWE Women's Champion that will actually compete on the show. She says Charlotte seems to have this idea that she's bigger than the championship and bigger than Power. This cued Charlotte's music. Charlotte entered the ring and grabbed a mic as she smiled at Becky. Charlotte asks if Becky was finished because little girl time was over and now was grown woman's time. Charlotte told Becky she sees how big her eyes are as they lay on her championship, and she can hear the hope in her voice that she actually believes she going to beat her at Summerslam. Charlotte tells Becky she's going to let her down easy and let her know that there was absolutely no chance that Becky is beating her this Sunday. Charotte tells Becky she knows she'll show up and give it a hell of a fight, but it won't matter in the end. Charlotte says there are levels to this and that she's in a tier way above Becky's. Becky says that arrogance is going to be Charlotte downfall this Sunday. Charlotte says the fall that going to happen in their match is when she pins Becky, 1..2..3. Charlotte shoulder bumps Becky as she makes her way out of the ring before heading up the ramp. Becky looks on.

Power opens with a highlight package of Summerslam, showing Liv Morgan and Aliyah putting up a heck of a Fatal Beauty fight before falling to the latter. And Becky Lynch almost dethroning Charlotte before the return of Nikki Bella and her attack on Becky ended things for The Irish Lass Kicker.

Becky Lynch's music would hit and out she came to the ring. Becky was fired up asking what the heck was that last night? Referring to Nikki Bella interjecting herself in Becky's match and costing her the WWE Women's Championship. Becky tells Nikki to bring her ass down to the ring right now. Moments later, Nikki's music would hit and she took her time coming down the ramp for the ring. Nikki slowly approached Becky before they were a few feet apart. Nikki said ever since last night everyone's been asking, why Nikki? Why? Nikki tells Becky and everyone watching, the answer is simple, Becky was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Nikki says if anyone is going to beat Charlotte for the championship it's going to be her. Nikki reminds everyone that she's the longest reigning Diva's Champion in WWE history and that holds weight. Nikki says that means now that she's back, she's next and she's here to take back what's hers.

Becky tells Nikki first of all it's the WWE Women's Championship now and secondly, she picked the wrong moment in time and wrong woman to screw over. Becky dropped her mic and started throwing hands at Nikki. Nikki was now throwing hands back and the two fell to the mat in a brawl. The two ended up falling out of the ring and began brawling up the ramp before backstage crew came to break them up. Both women tried to tear away from crew holding them apart.

Paige & Emma def. Carmella & Cameron via submission (6:14)

Backstage, we see Alexa Bliss with Rosa Mendes. Alexa tells Rosa it's unfortunate what happened to Becky, but by her count Becky is in the back of the line now. Which means there's a new number one contender for the WWE Women's Championship, yours truly. Rosa tells Alexa to hold her horses and that she isn't just getting named number one contender, she has to earn it. Rosa says she will consider what happened in last nights WWE Women's Championship match and thinks it's only fair that Becky get another crack at the championship. Rosa books Becky Lynch versus Alexa Bliss in a number one contenders match for the WWE Women's Championship in tonight's main event. Alexa doesn't look too excited about this.

Ember Moon def. Summer Rae via pinfall (5:22)

We see Sasha Banks and Tessa Blanchard in the locker room. Sasha tells Tessa it was cool teaming with her for a minute, but her first priorities is her singles career and winning the WWE Women's Championship. Tessa tells Sasha she can respect that and they fist bump, before Tessa walks away. Moments later, we pan out to see Bayley. Bayley is all smiles as she tells she heard her say she's focused on her singles career and all, but when she's ready to take over Power's tag division with her to let her know. Bayley stretches her arms out for a big hug from Sasha. Sasha smiles and hugs Bayley.

Alexa Bliss def. Becky Lynch via pinfall - #1 Contenders match for the WWE Women's Championship (17:30)

During the match, Nikki came to the ring and connected with a Rack Attack 2.0 on Becky as Alexa distracted the ref.

Post-match, Nikki connected with a Rack Attack 2.0 on Alexa. Nikki stood over both women to end the show.​

We see Becky Lynch in Rosa's office to start the show. Becky is heated and demands a match with Nikki Bella tonight. Rosa tells Becky she knows she's upset for Nikki costing her the championship twice, but instead of booking them two in a match tonight, she'll book it for Backlash. Becky tells Rosa as long as he gets to get her hands on Nikki, she's satisfied and walks off.

We see Alexa Bliss walking backstage as she approaches Nikki, Alexa asks Nikki what the heck was that last week. Nikki smirks and tells Alexa she's no different than Becky and that she's in her way. An infuriated Alexa says oh yeah? Well how about the two of them go one-on-one next week. Nikki agrees and pats Alexa on top of the head, angering her even more. Alexa slaps Nikki and walks away. Nikki looks heated as she looks on.

The show starts with a returning Natalya brawling with Nia Jax in the back. The brawl continues down the ramp and towards the ring. Rosa Mendes tells Nia and Natalya that she's making this an official match, right now!

Carmella approaches Tessa Blachard in the back. Carmella tells Tessa she heard she was looking for a new partner. Tessa tells Carmella she's keeping her options open. Carmella says how about Tessa watch her back and together they'll be tag team champions in no time. Tessa tells Carmella she'll think about it before walking off.

We start the show with highlights from Backlash, where we saw Becky Lynch unleashing her pint up aggression onto Nikki Bella, followed by Alexa--who would've been beaten otherwise--use Charlotte's WWE Women's Championship to take her out.

Charlotte's music hits and she means business as she makes her way to the ring. Charlotte demands Alexa Bliss to bring her ass down to the ring right now! A few moments go by and Alexa comes to the stage with the WWE Women's Championship around her waist and a mic in hand. Alexa says it's apparent that getting hit in the head still has Charlotte confused. Alexa reminds Charlotte that she's WWE Women's Champion now and doesn't receive orders, she gives them. Alexa says she doesn't have time for losers and if Charlotte wants to speak to her, make an appointment. Charlotte angrily says Alexa's face has an appointment with her fist, right now! Charlotte leaves the ring and gives chase to Alexa who hurries to the back. Charlotte looks around the back looking and asking for where Alexa went before getting nailed in the back of the head by the WWE Women's Championship. Alexa stands over Charlotte and tells her to get used to being below her.

The IIconics def. Paige & Emma via pinfall (12:01)

Peyton Royce used tights to roll-up Paige for the pin.

Backstage, Carmella approaches Fatal Beauty and asks them to put their WWE Women's Tag Team Championship against her and her partner at Clash of Champions. Fatal Beauty asks Carmella who her partner is. Carmella tells them that's none of their business right now and that they'll find out at in two weeks. Fatal Beauty look at each other and then at Carmella and tell her she's on.

Post-match, Nia Jax enters the ring from behind and attacks Natalya. Nia says she's not done with Natalya and that it's about family, it's personal. Nia laid Natalya out with a Fireman's carry powerslam before standing over her to end the show.​

Backstage, Nia Jax is interviewed about her beef with Natalya. Nia says it's plain and simple, her bloodline has been treated like an afterthought for decades for the likes of other families in the WWE and she's had enough of it. Nia says when she's done with Natalya no one will look at the Hart name--but then suddenly Natalya attacks Nia from behind and the two go at it before being broken up by backstage crew.

Carmella def. Mandy Rose (c) (w/Asuka) via pinfall (6:03)

Late in the match, Tessa Blanchard came to the ring and took Asuka out, who was on the apron. Carmella would take advantage of the distraction and roll-up Rose using tights.

Post-match, Carmella clapped at Tessa who'd turn around and head back up the ramp.

The show opens with Charlotte Flair's music as she makes her way to the ring, and she doesn't look happy. Charlotte says for two consecutive times, Alexa Bliss has hit her in the head with the WWE Women's Championship to get her hands on a championship that doesn't belong to her. Charlotte demands Alexa bring her little ass down to this ring and give her, her rematch right now! Rosa's music hit and she came down to the ring. Rosa tells Charlotte she saw what happened both times and she knows she's upset which is why I've decided on giving her another match. Before Rosa could go any further, Alexa Bliss' music hits and she makes a b-line to the ring with mic in hand. Before Alexa even makes it to the ring, she's yelling at Rosa and Charlotte, stating Charlotte is a two-time loser and that she doesn't deserve another championship opportunity. Alexa enters the ring and Rosa stands between Alexa and Charlotte as Charlotte looks like she wants to go at Alexa. Alexa asks Charlotte how many times she had to prove she's better than her. Alexa says everyone here knows it and everyone watching knows it. Charlotte tells Alexa to shut her dang mouth and for Rosa to make their next match. Rosa says at No Mercy it will be Alexa Bliss defending the WWE Women's Championship in a No Disqualification/No Count-Out match. Charlotte smiles and Alexa loses her arrogant expression.

Carmella & Tessa Blanchard def. The IIconics and Liv Morgan & Aliyah via pinfall - #1 Contenders Triple Threat Tag Team match for the WWE Tag Team Championship (12:58)

An interview of Nia Jax about what she did to Natalya was attempted before her match, but Nia snubbed the interview and headed for the ring.

Backstage, Charlotte gave an interview. Charlotte says she need not remind Alexa Bliss what her last name is. Charlotte says Alexa likes to play dirty, well she's the dirtiest in the game. Charlotte says she plans to take it there this Sunday and Alexa only has herself to blame. Charlotte tells Alexa to enjoy her last two days of being champion because come No Mercy the WWE Women's Champion is coming back home. Charlotte walks off.

Elsewhere, we see Carmella and Tessa Blanchard heading for the ring. Carmella tells Tessa she made the best decision of her career when she decided to be her partner and she guarantees they'll go to the top together. Tessa looked ahead with a focused expression on her face as they headed for the ring.

Carmella & Tessa Blanchard vs. Becky Lynch & Bayley ends in no contest (10:22)

The IIconics came to the ring and attacked both teams with chair shots.

She says she has to because unlike Nia, she's the only Hart around to represent and bring honor to the Hart name. She takes a moment to collect herself and with a straight face says as soon as she's healthy she vows to knock the giant down...for The Hart's.​
