Sasha Banks came to the ring and said she wanted to tell Charlotte something to her face in front of the world. Charlotte would come to the ring and stand several feet away from Banks looking as confident as ever. Banks says she wants to congradulate Charlotte for the win at Extreme Rules and that the next time they meet she will be better. Banks extended her hand to Charlotte, who looked down at it for several moments before going to shake it before retracting her hand with a smirk on her face and walking out of the ring and heading up the ramp. Banks looked on as Charlotte said she doesn't shake losers' hand.

Emma defeated Dana Brooke and Bayley via submission - #1 Contenders Triple Threat match for the WWE Women's Championship (12:55)

Tessa Blancard def. Brie Bella via pinfall (3:01)

A vignette aired for Nia Jax. Nia says this industry has been dominated by the men of her bloodline, but it will be dominated by a woman of her bloodline. She says the women of the WWE are put on notice because she's coming... soon!

Backstage, Carmella confronted Paige, stating that she was second best to her tag team partner Emma and everyone knows it. Carmella told Paige the proof was Emma getting a WWE Women's Championship opportunity and she didn't. Paige had heard enough and smacked Carmella which led to a brawl that had to be broken up by backstage crew.

Tessa Blanchard approached Sasha Banks backstage about being tag team partners. Tessa tells Banks she knows she came up short in becoming WWE Women's Champion, but there's more gold out there to win. She tells Banks there isn't another woman on the roster she'd like to team up with than her. Banks tells Tessa she'll think about it.

Natalya's music hits and she makes a b-line for the ring. Before Natalya could speak, Charlotte calls her the newest loser of the bunch and asks why she came to her ring. Natalya tells Charlotte she knows she lost at Money in the Bank, but she knows she can beat her. Charlotte laughs and tells Natalya she's a loser who had her chance already. Natalya smacks Charlotte, infuriating her, but she didn't strike back. Charlotte tells Natalya she's going to pay for that. Charlotte walks past Natalya and leaves the ring.

She says she's noticed how several women have won their matches by submission and she'd like to find out who the "Submission Queen" or "Tap Out Queen" really is. Rosa says on the first Friday after Battleground there will be a match of Power's best submission victorious women to determine who will earn that title.

Paige comes to the ring and says she knows she's already made Carmella tap recently, but over the last month all she's been thinking about is breaking little miss blondie in two. Paige challenges Carmella to a submission match right here right now. Carmella comes to the stage and tells Paige beaten her already and is passed her, telling her to move on. Rosa Mendes comes to the stage asking the Power crowd if they'd like to see Paige versus Carmella tonight? Rosa makes the match right then and there.

Paige vs. Carmella ended in a double count-out (5:14)

A vignette aired for Nia Jax. Nia says the blood of her bloodline is screaming for the blood of every woman in this industry. Violence, destruction and ruin is what's in store for WWE's little girls... soon!

Paige had Carmella's number for most of the match and with Carmella noticing she was outmatched in this outing, she rolled out of the ring and headed up the ramp. Paige gave chase, but got lost in battling Carmella on the ramp.

Post-match, Charlotte entered the ring behind Natalya and nailed her in the back of the head with the WWE Women's Championship. Charlotte leaned over having words for Natalya before standing tall over her with the championship held high.

Backstage Alexa Bliss is interviewing about the big submission match coming up in a few weeks. Alexa laughs about and calls it a joke. She says do those women actually believe they're better than her? Alexa says no other woman on the Power roster can hold a candle to her. Alexa pushes the microphone away and hurries off.

Charlotte and Natalya came to the ring for a contract signing. Charlotte told Natalya that she wants her to enjoy these last hours of having an opportunity at her WWE Women's Championship because after Sunday, she'll never get another opportunity at the championship as long as she's champ. Charlotte signs the contract. Natalya tells Charlotte she walks around here like her last name is the only one that holds weight. Natalya tells Charlotte that on Sunday she's not just getting in the ring with Natalya Neidhart, she's getting in the ring with every Hart and she guarantees there is absolutely no way she leaves Battleground without the WWE Women's Championship. As soon as Natalya signed the contract, Charlotte attempted to strike her but ended up getting toss on her ass. Charlotte had enough and slid out of the ring, grimacing as she clutched her championship. Charlotte slowly shook her head no while gazing at Natalya, who told Charlotte that, that championship is hers.​

Charlotte was on commentary. Post-match, Charlotte attempted a sneak attack from behind on Natalya, but almost ended up getting folded into a sharpshooter. Charlotte scratched her way out of the ring and quickly backpedaled up the ramp.​

Rosa Mendes comes onto the stage and states how good the two Power matches were at Battleground, but they aren't stopping there as competition will get better and better from here on out. Rosa says tonight will be the beginning of the Submission Victory Only Tournament and she's sure the women in the back won't disappoint her. She says the first-round match ups are as follows. Asuka versus Naomi. Emma versus Bayley. Becky Lynch versus Natalya. Paige versus Sasha Banks. Rosa says the winner of the tournament will become the number one contender to the WWE Women's Championship.

We get a highlight package of last week's Submission Only match Tournament. Afterwards, out came a disgruntled Little Miss Bliss. Alexa calls the tournament a sham because she wasn't in it. She says she thought Power was all about competition, yet it let the best talent in the Power roster out of the tournament. Alexa says regardless of who wins this trivial tournament, they will meet her and then they'll see just who the best woman is.

We get an update of Natalya's status after last weeks assault by Nia Jax. It's been reported that Natalya suffered an arm injury and she'll miss some time.

Backstage, we see Tessa Blanchard approach Sonya Deville. Tesse tells Sonya it looks like she's not the new girl as Sonya is the second new face she's seen around here in just as many weeks. Tessa tells Sonya she just wanted to let her know that the line starts behind her. Sonya smirks and oh really? Tesse nodded and said that's right. Sonya says she's got an idea how about Tessa go speak with Rosa Mendes and go get us a match set up for next week? Tessa says she likes the sound of that and walks off as Sonya looked on.
