I stand by what I said. If somebody is genuinely upset about something it really isn't funny.
You forget. We are all human. Different things make different people tick at different times.
Saying somebody should or should not be upset forces them to be robotic. It is logical but robotic.
I don't expect nice, you all know that by now. We are all human beings. We have feelings even though we prefer to admit otherwise.

Debating is great, but you never know how close somebody may be to depression, suicide or anything else.

Sure, would a dislike or a disagreement with my opinion annoy me? At times, yes, it all depends on the mood I'm in. When I'm in a good mood, you can say whatever you want, I wouldn't really give a damn.

But would it truly upset me? Hell no, it's just the internet.
i.e. It's not like when you go out for a drink with your friend and somebody punches him/her for no reason, that'd be upsetting...

That's just it, dude. We are human. How many times must I explain this? We are not 100% logically driven.
If Mom screwed you over, it hurt. If a girl rejects your affections, it hurt. We are social creatures and rejection is rejection.
You may not see the significance at the moment, but what you (or others) could say the one thing that makes a person feel totally unloved.

Internet guy won't be the source but he could be one of many sources of rejection. You never know a person's job, love or social situation. Laughing at someone when you know they are upset isn't cool, ever.
