If they can recreate the break up angle down the road? I'm all for it.

Who am I kidding. I'd be for it either way. Sami Zayn and Kervin Stronk plx
The breakup angle was the GOAT. Seriously.

Steenerico tearing the tag division apart to build up to the breakup would be tits as well. WWE isn't exactly above ripping off ROH, so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

If Zayn is up on the main roster by the time it's time for Kevin to jump up they have a good intro for him as well. Have a tag team hound Zayn for a while and Zayn bringing in his old buddy.

NXT>main roster. Everyone should go there, especially when they've worked Puro all of their careers. Granted it's easier to adapt to the American style than Lucha, but still, gotta adapt. Plus, they've gotta work on a gimmick for the dude, or if they're going with a japanese who kills everyone with kicks deal he's gotta spend some time down there to work on promos, presentation or whatnot.

I can think of more matches in NXT that I'd be interested seeing him in than on the main roster currently to be honest.

NXT's roster in the coming months is going to be dope with Zayn, Neville, Kidd, KENTA, Devitt and Steen on it.
Steen? What? Someone please tell me he means Kevin Steen... I'm a bit out of the loop.

Kevin Steen did a WWE try out in the winter. And he is finishing off his ROH farewell tour right now. He is expected to arrive in Florida in August/September as long as he passes all the medical. Mike Bennett (ROH wrestler married to Maria of WWE divas fame) said it was all basically set in stone on his podcast.

Same with Irish Neew Japan Star Prince Devitt.

NXT is going to be mighty interesting come the fall.

KENTA update:

[KENTA Update] Following the WWE contract signing in Osaka, Japan on July 12th, KENTA was part of a public press event today at the Hard Rock Cafe in Roppongi, Japan.

He first stated that he was a bit nervous to attend the public contract signing with the Hulk Hogan and he tried his best to “keep his composure”. It was a great honor to stand in the ring with him and very special moment as well for himself.

KENTA said that he is working on “setting up his residence in Orlando, Florida and is looking forward to training in the WWE Performance Center.” That it is a “great facility with a lot of great equipment” and one that he does not mind starting from the bottom if that is what he gets to work with. He mentioned that he is still quite “inexperienced with the English language”, but it is currently his “biggest hard work in progress”.

As for his name, KENTA mentioned that is “solely in the WWE Headquarters hands.” He said that there is a “possibility” that his ring name will be changed, but stated with a smile that “any number of names with do”. Even something like a “TANAKA or TOYOTA” which he mentioned himself. He is prepared for anything. He also mentioned that he knows he will have to adjust his in-ring style and adapt to the changes. But that he will do his very best.

He also mentioned the names of Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson) and Cesaro (Claudio Castagnoli) who have been in Japan and who have reached the top front of the WWE. He said that it it is reassuring to himself that there are talent that he personally knows in the WWE. He also mentioned John Cena and Rey Mysterio as wrestlers that the entire world knows, but at this time he has little expectations of being on that same level, he said with a laugh. He then said that WWE is the top of the wrestling organizations in the world and that it has been his dream to stand on the big stage, if just at least once in his life. He currently does not know what to expect now that the doors are open, but he will do his best from day one.

Nice to see that he is humble and going into this with a working man mentality.

He must succeed. It would be a shame if he did not. He's far too skilled to be tossed aside.
He isn't Randy Savage but I hope he is at least appreciated on the level that Chris Benoit was (please, not here).

Only watched a couple matches of his in the past, so not really the biggest fan ever. Glad to see WWE get someone else good though, I'm sure NXT is bound to have some amazing matches with the talent pool they have their, and hopefully he lasts when on the main roster.

Now that Kenta's signed, NXT's bound to be good, I'll be watching closely. So many great talent on there.

Naming him Toyota, really?
Worst of all, it's his idea. lol
No doubt, its more nurture than nature. He realizes off the bat that WWE stereotypes to an almost insulting degree.
Before they suggest something insulting, you suggest something in even worst taste.
Before they name him Brandon Bruce Lee (eventually BBL) , he'll suggest Isuzu, Suzuki or Toyota to be a team player.

I love WWE, they're so diversified.

and the deconstruction of KENTA continues....

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that KENTA may have to change his moveset drastically when he starts wrestling for WWE.

KENTA's Go 2 Sleep move is obviously associated with CM Punk and WWE may impose a ban on this, as not to remind fans of Punk. Daniel Bryan was also using KENTA's Busaiku knee finisher before he was injured and Bryan's Yes Lock is actually KENTA's Game over submission, so it will be interesting to see if KENTA drops these moves completely or Bryan changes his moveset.

KENTA's Tiger suplex will likely be banned to avoid other talent receiving neck issues.

Something Kenta himself said in an interview after the signing. He knew he would have to re-create his moveset.

Also, the Game Over was adopted after Bryan became a big player in the E. And Bryan in turn adopted the Busaiku
