Davenport to challenge Satomura in Japanese Street Fight on NXT UK​

A can’t-miss edition of NXT UK is set to feature Meiko Satomura defending her NXT UK Women’s Championship against Blair Davenport in a barbaric Japanese Street Fight, Jack Starz and Dave Mastiff taking on Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter in a high-stakes tag team match, and Myla Grace colliding with the wicked Isla Dawn.

After doing the impossible and dethroning “The Forever Champion” Kay Lee Ray, Satomura has taken it upon herself to challenge her fellow Superstars and encourage them to step up. It would seem, however, that Davenport wasn’t exactly in need of a pep talk.

For lack of a better term, Davenport has essentially raised hell since debuting in NXT UK, ruthlessly attacking Assistant to the General Manager Sid Scala, repeatedly brutalizing her peers in a series of backstage attacks, and perhaps most importantly, stringing together win after win.

In fact, Davenport’s only loss came at the hands of The Final Boss, who narrowly edged her newfound nemesis with a backslide when they battled for the title in January.

And that gritty victory is far from the only impressive performance from Satomura in her run as champion, as The Best in the World has also retained her title against the likes of Jinny, Xia Brookside and Stevie Turner in some epic championship brawls.

What will happen when champion and challenger try to tear each other apart in the lawless environment of a Japanese Street Fight?

And after each team won its respective No. 1 Contender’s Tournament Semifinals Matches, Starz & Mastiff and Smith & Carter will square off for the right to challenge NXT UK Tag Team Champions Moustache Mountain.

Starz and Mastiff took down Teoman and Rohan Raja in a barnburner to reach the finals, while Smith and Carter outlasted Primate and T-Bone in their semifinal clash, but which duo will triumph in the finals and have a chance to win the tandem titles for the first time?

Plus, Dawn continues to terrorize NXT UK, and she has seemingly found her next target in the energetic Grace.
