What kind of gimmick could they really give Tyler Black? He's as bland as bland can get.

The somewhat generic Edge / JoMo 'Rockstar' gimmick? I have no idea.

*Spoilers* WWE Superstars Matches Taped at Raw
Prior to last night's WWE Raw broadcast, the following matches were taped for this week's edition of Superstars:

-Beth Phoenix defeated Brie Bella. The match wasn't entirely a squash, Brie got some offense in, but Phoenix ended up getting the win after hitting the Glam Slam.

-Kofi Kingston defeated Michael McGullicutty via pin fall after hitting the Trouble in Paradise.

Prior to last night's WWE SmackDown taping, the following matches were taped for this week's edition of Superstars:

-Jinder Mahal def. Tyson Kidd. Jinder won the bout via submission victory after applying the Camel Clutch to Kidd.

I like that they are being kept off the roster until they have a good storyline for them. No point rushing their debuts only to have them flounder in two months time when the debut wears off. With it being WM season they may be held off until after the big day because before then there wouldn't be much chance of tv time.

Kofi is too good to be kept on Superstars. He needs a proper feud after the Royal Rumble to get him moving back up the card. Always happy to see a Jinder Mahal win

Agreed, I'm liking Jinder Mahal as of late and it's good that he isn't getting squashed every week like he was before and actually looking strong (apart from when Sheamus gets the upper hand on him.) He makes for a good mid carder and I'm sure the Indian audience of WWE like him and his gimmick. Yes I know he's Canadian but they see him as an Indian.

I don't see any appeal in Jinder Mahal.

Why's that? The guy has a good look and can put on a watchable pretty nice match.

Jinder Mahal is quite under-rated and has a lot of potential to be an upper-mid-carder by the end of the year.

A few mid-card feuds and hold the belt, gain more Indian viewers and he'd be right where he should be. Even though Sheamus has gone over in their feud, he's shown he can work a decent match.

The problem with Jinder Mahal is WWE booked him so badly once Great Khali and him split. He didn't win a match for months so it will take time before fans take him seriously again. It has been good seeing him get involved with Sheamus on Smackdown even if he is on the losing end of that feud at the moment.

Tyson Kidd is the underrated one, I mean, I don't mind Mahal and all but if anyone, Kidd is one of the most underrated superstars in the WWE.

But Mahal can cut a decent promo and has one of those strong guy looks, Tyson is this small ass guy who has no charisma. In WWE, it's entertainment, not wrestling.

I haven't heard very many promos from Kidd so you never know, the guy could cut a decent promo as well, maybe even better than Mahal.
