Tuesday night's WWE NXT
averaged 588,000 viewers on the USA Network, down 16.6 percent from last week. It's the second-lowest audience total for the show since July 12.
NXT faced stronger-than-usual sports competition with a college football bowl game on ESPN averaging more than 2.6 million viewers and finishing second on the cable charts with a 0.66 rating in the 18-49 demo. The game aired head-to-head with NXT.
NXT finished 25th on the charts with a 0.12 rating in 18-49. That's a decline of 14.3 percent from last week and ties NXT's lowest rating in the demo since June 28.
NXT's ratings were down from last week in every demo with the exception of women 18-49, which were up 12.5 percent. The biggest drop was with females 12-34, which were down 37.5 percent.
As compared to the same week in 2021, NXT's overall viewership was down 11.2 percent and its 18-49 demo rating was down 25 percent.
NXT will be back airing live next Tuesday after the two most recent episodes were taped in advance.
